whats the tm frame made out of? im buying a new frame because the army one feels cheap as shit.
TM is plastic too. All glock frames are plastic, real included. It's just the type of plastic they use and the surface finish they use on it that make them noticeably different.
i know, but there IS a major difference in my oppinion to the feel of plastic vs polymer/fiber like in the second one i posted.
polymer=plastic just FYI But I don't know what TM Glock lowers are made of, sorry.
Polymer is still > ABS. From experience. And Polymer body reinforced with fiberglass is god bless. Or Nylon fiber composite.
This summer, I am getting a new gun. It will be the KALASH/DBoys RK-03. Although, I tend to get attached to my guns, and I feel bad for getting a new one, so I don't know.
I'm just keeping the MMRCW AK life going this year :)
Alright, so i've been wanting to get a helmet cam, as you guys know, but unfortunately, I don't really work in the winter, save for PC repair and shit. I have one of those small pinhole camera that you see in Aderonn's helmet cam video on youtube, but my camcorder doesn't record with that little camera. I attempted to make a shell with plexiglass and shit to go around a digital camera, but that didn't work out so well. I want to make a rig with the camcorder, or maybe my friend's Kodak Mini that will protect it, be lightweight, and I can attach it to my gear or something. Anybody have any ideas? I think this will be temporary until I get enough money to get my broke ass one of those cameras that are smaller than a lighter.
Mp4 pen cameras! :O
I doubt it. Try to find out which brand mags are compatible with it first. It may be TM or KSC/KWA based, or neither. My friend has the ARMY 1911 and supposedly it's not compatible with a lot of parts, although I think his can take TM mags. If it is TM compatible, buy the TM frame but no guarantees it will work.
It takes TM parts and is compatible with parts intended for TM.
is there something thats as good quality as http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/pro-arms-original-frame-for-ksc-g17-g18c-g34-bk.html thats meant for tm glocks? [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] and whats the diff between http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/guarder-original-frame-for-marui-g17-g18c-gbb-black.html and http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/tokyo-marui-glock-17-original-lower-frame-black.html? [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] nevermind, the first is fiber reinforces polymer (woo)
The first is made by guarder and the second a nameless chinese company.
hmm, both fyber reinforced polymer... but ones like 25 less than the other. what should i do?
Get the Guarder one because it is guaranteed to be good.
ok. [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] anyone know how gas guns can have a 3 round burst?
-snip
im asking because i may trade for a m93r with 3 rd burst.
Why does it matter how? All that matters is that it does and it works. [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] Probably some sort of mechanical diddlyhop allowing the firing mechanism to cycle only 3 times.
heh diddlyhop
I found a metal outer barrel for my Glock. Yay. :buddy:
should i spend 60$ on parts to trade for a used kwa m93r (may not be kwa, havent heard back yet) or should I spend 60$ on upgrade parts for my glock? (a not-shit frame and outer barrel) the only reason im torn is that I do not like the look of a m93r, but im sure it would have a high resale value. rate agree for glock, disagree for m93r [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline]
I found a metal outer barrel for my Glock. Yay. :buddy:
yeah, one was posted on the previous page i think
I didn't see the outer barrel, but the one I found was made by Guarder.
well AFAIK KWA makes the only M93R. I'd personally go for Glock upgrades though, a metal outer barrel would be good for sure. And if you're using green gas, get a propane adapter. Best decision I ever made. [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] Okay so Glocks. I can: Army R17 :bandwagon: KJW Glock 23 Or used KWA G23F with aftermarket OD frame, yet to verify authenticity and price. Rate agree for R17, disagree for KJ G23, or tool for used G23F, assuming it's real.
Silly sidearm users My sidearm is another AEG.
My sidarms are a KWA M11 and a Glock 18, with like 3 mags for the M11 and 4-5 for the G18C.
Hi-Capa or a Five-seveN here. Need more mags for each.
I love my 18c. I can't believe I was considering selling it awhile ago :( although once a makarov comes out its going
One a makarov comes out it's staying along with whatever other glock I end up getting.

I carry two sidearms on my CIRAS. For defensive, OH SHIT moments: TM P226 w/ 3 mags in a Serpa Holster For offensive use clearing rooms, etc: KWA KP45 Tactical w/ 3 mags, M6 light, TM SOCOM Suppressor. Pistol holstered in a Double AK mag pouch.
