Honestly, go to Canada to get it if you can. I got mine on a trip to Toronto :v:
You know I want your CADPAT shit, Wolves :v: Is it even cheap there in Canada?
If somebody can find me a place to buy CADPAT that isn't Royaltiger, I will love you forever.
These guys sell so much stuff in CADPAT. Everything from BDUs to MOLLE vests. Although their MOLLE vests are over $300 though. http://www.cpgear.com/

http://www.cpgear.com/
hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng I was just going to wear some OD or foliage green gear with my CADPAT anyway, although, if they're cheap enough, i'll get an OD CIRAS or something and use CADPAT pouches or something, i'm checking the website out now. [editline]31st January 2011[/editline] I love you taep prices are a little pricey with the pouches, but i'm assuming that they're made nicely and shit, and not to mention that they're in CADPAT

Can't find any C7A1/2 tri-ad mount look-alikes :sigh: [editline]31st January 2011[/editline]
These guys sell so much stuff in CADPAT. Everything from BDUs to MOLLE vests. Although their MOLLE vests are over $300 though. http://www.cpgear.com/
Heh cp
How do you take off the upper hand grip on an Ak105/cyma 40D Looked everywhere but cant find a video, all the ones i've seen are for long barrels which have a screw.
There's a little lever right beside the rear sight, flip that lever up. Push the upper grip forward (towards the barrel) and pull the rear of it upwards.
Can't find any C7A1/2 tri-ad mount look-alikes :sigh:
On Airsoft Canada there was a thread about some guy in Finland who made an C8A3 and he managed to get a real tri-ad mount somehow even though Colt Canada doesn't sell them to civilians.
JB-Weld casting maybe?
Whats the FPS limit on guns at Hollywood sports?

[editline]31st January 2011[/editline] Also, codemoney, any luck with the surplus store?
Nah, never got around to going. They don't answer their phone. I have things to buy as it is.
I'm managing to get three Tokyo Marui Glock mags for $30 total.
Ok I got it off, now i can't get it in. Fiddly things these are.
That's what she said.
That's what she said.
Maybe to you.
I have ordered the TM Desert Eagle GBB from UNcompany and its shipping for Michigan and when it gets there my father is going to drive me across the border to pick it up I’m hoping they won’t have a "random" check fingers crossed. Do you think it will work?
What's the worst they're going to do? Imprison you for life for buying a BB gun? They don't give a shit. They're trying to find dirty bombs, not pistols that fire plastic balls at insanely less then lethal velocities.

If they screen the car, and that gun shows up, your dad could get into some serious trouble. [editline]1st February 2011[/editline]
What's the worst they're going to do? Well technically the scanner will only be able to see the safety the slide release and some internals because the body is ABS. But again if they stop us what will happen and if they do it will still have the brown paper so do you think I could get away with telling them it’s a Paintball Marker? Or will they even care?

Do you think it will work?
I've been up through the Detroit border crossing, it's not very vigorous unless the security has drastically increased. The Canadian border guards just asked random questions about our trip to make sure we weren't suspicious. Crossing on the way back was much easier, they really only cared about our ID and then waved us through. So driving to the US should be the more difficult part, but you won't have an airsoft gun with you on the way. Edit: Oh yeah, make sure everyone in the vehicle has a lot of ID - it may seem excessive but bringing a packet of scanned documents (birth/marriage certificates, social insurance number, etc) can really smooth things over on the way back.
If I recall I hear it's common practice for Airsofters in Canada to drive across the border to get Airsoft guns.
So in other words it will work cause i heard its always random? [editline]1st February 2011[/editline]
I'm not sure if it will. The Canadian laws are tricky. Sometimes they will let full black guns through (my friend got a JG AUG through this way, before he read about our laws) sometimes they won't even let clear guns through because they don't have orange tips. It's about getting lucky really.

But naturally, if the receiver where on the real deal the serial number would be, is clear, it should be legal, orange tip or no (That's US border laws). If it gets stopped, you can contest it, and after long hours of debating, you'll get it to go through. In short, full back may pass, if the guy working there is "cool" or if they didn't bother to check out the package. Simple as that. As for those guys importing, like the distributors (CAS, Mach1, etc) if they're full black, you probably saw that the FPS was above 407, and under 507, which means that they are considered "Unregulated firearms" and are much easier to get through like any BB guns or small rifles. They just need the licenses for it. The more you know!
That's what I was saying, it just depends on the guy that looks at it. I have had an experience of trying to take a gun across (years ago when I was a noob) but it didn't have a orange tip so they said no.
well this ones going to have a giant ugly orange tip on it. Will I make it because we have only been stopped once(on a vacation) and we always have lots of id when ever we go over the border will they accept the paintball marker excuse?
You know what you should do if you're in Cannuck land? NEVER, I repeat NEVER order airsoft guns outside of Cannuck land. Reasons being, 1- It's Illegal, 2- Support Canadian distributors and make them get bigger.
It's honestly not really a good idea in the first place, as Wolves said. I can't stop you though.
