My bottle of propane lasted like a year, if you are using a rifle then it will last less then that since I was just using it for my pistols. Propane isn't really that big of an issue. [editline]9th February 2011[/editline]
shit that just reminded me my gun still shoots hot fuck
come play at my field we dont have fps limits
I'm looking to complete my just BDU set. What is the best place to get combat boots that carries something in a size 15?
How long would propane last?
Depends on the size of the can. Personally I don't use propane, I hate the smell and with the amount of shooting I do with my GBBR's it would really irritate me after a while. Since propane tanks are larger than most green gas cans I'd imagine they'd last a fairly long time. They're also dirt cheap, so cost is a non issue. If you go that route you have to be sure to use silicon spray on your orings, internal components, pretty much anything that moves or has the gas interact with.
That...is an interesting solution. Not sure that I'd trust a JG. Also, it's Chinasoft, and I'm kind of wary of giving any more money to that behemoth of a civil rights violation country.
Face it, if you're going cheap odds are it's being made in China or Taiwan. Hell eve if you're going expensive odds are it's still made there. Not sure if you can find these anywhere, but SRC was selling a full MG36 at one time I thought. Would have sworn ASGI had it but I can't find it anymore.
Propane smells... pretty decent.
What do you guys think of the DBOYS gun I posted a few posts back?
Dboys makes good AK's, dunno about their M-series. Codemonkey, did you get your name from that epic show "Codemonkey's"?
Dboys makes good AK's, dunno about their M-series. Codemonkey, did you get your name from that epic show "Codemonkey's"?
or the song by Jonathan Coulton?
The song by Jonathan Coulton. I loved the Codemonkey's series though.
Hey guys, I'm thinking that my friend would be a good DMR, anybody have any suggestions of M14s?
Repost since it seems I posted it at a bad time
come play at my field we dont have fps limits
Do you get assholes who make 500 FPS paintsoft guns?
Do you get assholes who make 500 FPS paintsoft guns?
The hottest guns there are the KJW M4 GBBR, they shoot like 550 on a hot day afaik.
As I said, I had the Dboys PDW and it was great! Might want to replace the barrel and hopup later down the road but it will last you a long time. I don't really have anything negative to say about it. Also, thanks to everyone else who helped, e.g. Venom and xXEnder007Xx.
Bingo... http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4623 All I would need after that is a C-mag and a second job to pay for the amount of BBs I'd be putting through it. Still going to clear this with the locals to make sure it's okay. Is it a good idea to buy some G36 pouches for my vest so I can lug some extra mags into battle apart from the drum?
Probably. What kind of pouches do you already have though?
My only pouches are all specifically STANAGs. As far as I know, none of them can take a G36 mag.
I know you can fit G36 mags into a double AK mag pouch. But only 1. That chestrig that Deathmog uses can fit one pouch each I believe.
Wait, is this a clone? http://www.specialairsoftsupplies.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=1042 Because at the top it says "Location: /Auto Elec. Guns/China Airsoft" For example, Tokyo Marui's guns http://www.specialairsoftsupplies.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=153 have "Location: /Auto Elec. Guns/Tokyo Marui/Others" Update: I'm pretty sure it is real judging by this info I found
Dboys brand is a biggest manufactory in china. Dboys Chinese: 八一, is a Chinese based Airsoft manufacturer. Although a very notable company in AEGs, they do not have any official website. Dboys is the OEM of some Echo 1 guns. Dboys does not put their logo on any of their products nor release any company information with their products. Dboys manufactures quality, low to mid priced airsoft guns. Dboys G36C and AK-47 are very close to high end manufacturers such as Tokyo Marui & Classic Army in terms of quality. Their AEG's have been known to last more than 3 years. In 2008, Dboys released new AEGs that shoot well over 350 ft/s (110 m/s) with factory stock internals. In addition to AEGs released their first gas blowback, a Glock 18C, which is a clone of the KSC Glock 18C.
Okay sooooooo. Would it be lame to put a black stock on my AK? You can find pics of it in the chat thread.
Okay sooooooo. Would it be lame to put a black stock on my AK? You can find pics of it in the chat thread.
Not if you change the wooden grip at the front as well. Hmm, actually, I don't know. You should photoshop a stock image of an AK47 to see what it'll look like.
Framework issues make it so I can't use Photoshop. I bought a black grip for my AK, but apparently it's made for the 74u, so it won't fit. Would it be possible to file it down and make it fit?
No M14 help? :saddowns:
I know you can fit G36 mags into a double AK mag pouch. But only 1. That chestrig that Deathmog uses can fit one pouch each I believe.
Condor Double AK mag pouches can be modified to hold clamped G36 mags. Cut out the small divider inside the pouch with a knife and remove it, then you can hold 2 G36 mags clamped in there. It can occasionally be a pain to remove the mags if one of those tabs gets snagged, but at least it has some play in the pouch to move around. Pouches I'm referring to. A reviewer even suggests doing the same modification I mentioned. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=28_101_296&products_id=1149
Does anyone know if the ACU coffee-dunking thing works? I was looking at this and I kind of want pants to use that have that knee-pad system built in, but I don't want to wait to get it from overseas and I don't want it in ACU.
There are a shit-ton of places US based that sell Combat Pants. You can get them in Khaki, Tan, CB, OD, MARPAT, ACU, Multicam etc. Cheaper than the full set too for just the pants. Unfortunately, I couldn't direct you off the top of my head but they're out there.
Just found a seller that has the combat pants in stock, though they don't have OD at all. MARPAT looks OK with OD gear, right?
Yeah, looks better with tan in my opinion but it's perfectly fine with OD. If you look a bit longer you'll definitely find OD Combat Pants though.
Does anyone know anyway to get around the license rule for people who don't have licenses in the UK?
