UK resident here, Scotland to be precise. What age do I have to be to qualify for a UKARA?
Holy shit where in scotland. Also the age is 18, and you have to have played at least three or two games in the past two months or something.
That's stupid and doesn't even sound like it would work. That stops wobble.
I had a mag that would lock in but wouldn't sit high enough to feed. I wrapped some electrical tape around the top and it fed perfectly.
Also Exiv2 be sure that the places your playing airsoft at not gonna force you to go midcap and also with a hicap...most likely you will never reload and kinda kills the milsim aspect.
If we all wanted to be hardcore milsim, wouldn't we use 30 round realcaps?
If we all wanted to be hardcore milsim, wouldn't we use 30 round realcaps?
And GBBRs.
I actually might get an AK with a bunch of 30 round realcaps. I like realism.
Over, on, or under the catch?
On the catch.
What's the maximum FPS for spring-powered sniper rifles at most fields?
What's the maximum FPS for spring-powered sniper rifles at most fields?
Depends on the country. The US has no "legal" limit and the fields largely self-regulate (though some stuff is universal, such as 400 FPS max for an AEG). Usually 600 FPS is the most for any sniper rifle.

[editline]21st February 2011[/editline]
On the catch.
That didn't do shit but after further investigation all I had to to was smack it really hard.
Most places around here are 400fps max, for all weapons.
shitty carbine flimsy stock orange tip
it's very not flimsy. I've held one.
Most places around here are 400fps max, for all weapons.
That's odd. Because most spring powered sniper rifles easily exceed that.
Just found a German shop which is good, since I live in Switzerland. Would this AK be good?
The field closest to me is 400 FPS for AEGs and 550 for sniper rifles.

Those can be flimsy/hard to rest your cheek on.
I would try to find one with a better stock. Those can be flimsy/hard to rest your cheek on.
Aparently it accepts any TMarui parts, so wouldn't I be able to get another stock? Is it a solid purchase though?
Aparently it accepts any TMarui parts, so wouldn't I be able to get another stock? Is it a solid purchase though?
If I was going for an AK and wanted to not get a skeleton stock, I'd just buy a CM .028. They're kickass guns and very inexpensive.

You can see the selection on the german website, they only have 49 different AK's.
Ah, just heared Airsoft GI doesn't ship Internationally. Any Facepuncher trustworthy to recieve the package, and send it over to me if I'm ready to buy it. I'll pay for shipping.
UK resident here, Scotland to be precise. What age do I have to be to qualify for a UKARA?
Boink.
18. Simple 5 second google search.
I thought so, but some of the stuff I came across was a bit confusing.
If a scope name says "6~24*50" what do the exact numbers mean?
If a scope name says "6~24*50" what do the exact numbers mean?
6-24x zoom, 50mm lens. So in other words, way too much zoom, big field of view.
Lol, 24x zoom on an Airsoft rifle.
Lol, 24x zoom on an Airsoft rifle.
As far as magnifying scopes go, 2-4x is as far as your going to want to go.
Even on a sniper rifle?
Yep.
Even on a sniper rifle?
Your bullets don't go 10 miles. Only 300 feet at most.
