1911's are ugly and feel like shit in my hands for some reason. How about a Glock?
My personal favorite for sidearms are the M9 and USP .45, but none of them are really that terrorist-y. I'd vote for a Glock.

It's not that the grips feel too big, but that they feel really thin. They are made for the hands of leetle Americans.

Don't get an actual sniper rifle, get a M14 or SR-25 instead.
Why? M14 just isn't the same as an sniper rifle.

Completely agreed. If you want to be a sniper in airsoft, it's best to have something that can at least do semi auto.

Sniping in airsoft isn't the same as sniping with a real gun. You'd be pretty mad if you spent all that timing trying to get your perfect shot and then a light breeze blows the BB off course. That's why you want semi auto for airsoft sniping.

If you're [b]sure[/b] that's how you feel, then go for it.
It'd suck to dish out $250 for a gun you'll only use once or twice.

I know, that's why I'm asking. But a lot of people some to not recommend it.
For starting out, I wouldn't recommend being a sniper. If you want to try the role get something like a M14 and try it out. If you don't like it you still have a solid infantry rifle.
Problem is I don't have some infinite wallet, so I'd rather buy something and keep enjoying it, than buying an M14 and then the G98. I still have months to think about it though.

You could always use the M14 as a sniper rifle. Or go into the designated marksman role, which is much more useful to a team than a sniper is.
