Yup, sounds like generic paintballers.
And people wonder why we choose airsoft over paintball. (Well, the people around me, anyway.)
Anyway, another question. How many times in Airsoft does it occur where a player shoots another player from just a few feet away. I've been hit in the gut from that distance once, and I had quite a wound. (It hit my shirt, with nothing further underneath, aside skin.) And does it hurt as much as a paintball?
Hardly ever happens, did it on purpose once to get back at my brother, but other than that just call a point blank and they usually freeze up. Comparing the initial pain of airsoft to paintball would be about the same, feels like a sting or pinch. However, the pain doesn't linger hardly as long as if you were to be shot by a paintball (as they don't really welt).
I did find an excellent Airsoft skirmish group, who do full-weekend shootouts. Eat/sleep on the field, and defend the sleeping quarters because they can be overrun.
Lucky ass, that's exactly what I wanted to do coming into this sport.
Red gas is a high power refrigerant I believe. HFC134a. You need high quality weapons to use it.
HFC134a /= Red gas. 134a is lower powered and used in Japanese guns with plastic slides. Red is slightly more powerful than Green and seldom used.
Yes. The amount of power you get out of them. CO2 is the strongest, but will wreck your GBB if your internals aren't durable enough, and you don't have it well oiled. Green gas is the propane/silicone mixture I mentioned, and it's the gas of choice. Red gas is a high power refrigerant I believe. HFC134a. You need high quality weapons to use it. And propane is propane. If you're not using it premixed (green gas), then you need to spray some silicone on the propane tank and fill the mag like you normally would.
Red gas and 134a aren't the same thing, Red gas is rare and more powerful than green gas, 134a is for plastic Japanese guns mainly. [editline]26th February 2011[/editline] timebomb you fucker
What is a dump pouch used for? I'm looking at MOLLE pouches and wondering if it is a necessary.
DUmping your spent mags in. Not necessary but helpful
What is a dump pouch used for? I'm looking at MOLLE pouches and wondering if it is a necessary.
To put empty or partial mags into. It makes it easier to reload. Not necessary but really nice to have.
What is a dump pouch used for? I'm looking at MOLLE pouches and wondering if it is a necessary.
Who needs bathroom breaks? Stay in the game longer with the new Condor dump pouch. Comes in Coyote Brown only.
It's pretty handy if you're running realcaps. Otherwise you'd have to put them back into the pouches, I guess, and then you could lose track. [editline]26th February 2011[/editline] magazines, i mean.
I'm changing my loadout because my local field requires under 18's to wear a paintball mask, which would be weird with a shemagh. It only takes a couple seconds to check.
Put full mags in your pouches with the feed tube facing down. Then when you put them back in have the feed tube facing up. i am looking to buy a full metal carbine so i can get a better feel for the ergos of an m4 instead of the AK suggestions of getting decent one
i am looking to buy a full metal carbine so i can get a better feel for the ergos of an m4 instead of the AK suggestions of getting decent one
I have no first-hand experience, but I was looking at this about a month ago.
i am looking to buy a full metal carbine so i can get a better feel for the ergos of an m4 instead of the AK suggestions of getting decent one
G&G combat machine
Do it, you won't regret it. I didn't.
G&G combat machine
He said full metal doofus Combat machines are plastic.
He wanted full metal, though the Combat machine with blowback would be your best bet.
It's pretty handy if you're running realcaps. Otherwise you'd have to put them back into the pouches, I guess, and then you could lose track. [editline]26th February 2011[/editline] magazines, i mean.
Also handy if you use grenades (put used grenades in there) or need to hold demolition charges/ small objectives.
My blowback has the nice spring release feature.
He wanted full metal, though the Combat machine with blowback would be your best bet.
Why would a combat machine be ideal if he wanted full metal? [editline]27th February 2011[/editline]
My blowback has the nice spring release feature.
But it isnt full metal, which is literally the only thing he asked for :frog:
because he wanted to get used to the ergonomics of the m4 butthole
But he asked for a full metal one specifically, dag nabbit. Plus combat machine guns weigh about 2lbs, so they don't really give you a great feel for the ergonomics.
ok wow instead of arguing get any G&G M4 then there's literally billions of them [editline]asd[/editline] http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=4033 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=2659 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=2651 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=2817 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=2714 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=3029 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_107&products_id=3769 (ye its an m16) [editline]26th February 2011[/editline] actually here http://www.airsoftgi.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=G%26G+Full+Metal+M4&x=0&y=0 i can vouch for the G&G GR16 CQB-R btw, shit's so sex (for an M4)
