http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250630320458 guy does all sorts of custom nametapes, he's where I got my ACU tapes from
So, is the ebay price the fixed price for one patch? I mean, you'd think it would cost extra for velcro and camos and what not. How does it work?
So, is the ebay price the fixed price for one patch? I mean, you'd think it would cost extra for velcro and camos and what not. How does it work?
eBay lets you send a message to a seller while you pay for an item; that's where you enter the pattern and text you want on the patch. He has a separate auction up for tags with velcro. So it's about $3~ for a tape with velcro. I include a note with payment that tells him I want it to say "BITCHWHISTLE" and he'll ship it out yeah? Or are there more charges beyond that for like Multicam and what not.
What's a good scope for a G&G GR15 that's not expensive? I've been looking for some but can't find any. Also, if there are any scopes that don't use red dots (black lines or something), that would be nice.
king arms 1~3 scope [editline]5th March 2011[/editline] not cheap (I know that's what you're looking for) but it's pretty fucking good and you can light it up when it's dark

Anyone know where I can find an AK like this? I can't decide if I want real wood or tan furniture and I'd like to compare.
You're asking the wrong people. We all hate rails on AKs.
I know, I just wanted to see if anyone knew where I could go to for a comparison Edit: Oh god nvm I'll just stick to wood
I think he only has ACU, solid colors, and some digital camo.
Ah, I need OD so it should be fine. I just need to decide on either my last name, Bitchwhistle, Last Samurai or Asian Persuasion. Probably going to write Asian Persuasion in Kanji on the stock of my Type 89 when I get it. I need to make sure they have it first so Monday I'll call and ask.
So, is the ebay price the fixed price for one patch? I mean, you'd think it would cost extra for velcro and camos and what not. How does it work?
You tell him, he makes it. No extra cost for velcro(that's the listing WITH velcro iirc) and no extra cost for colour/camo
I think he only has ACU, solid colors, and some digital camo.
He can make virtually any if you ask him, though it might take him more time
I have a few questions relating to uniforms. Is there a darker and lighter version of the M81 Woodland BDU? Because I just purchased a brand new M81 Woodland BDU from Propper (outgrew my old one) and it seems pretty dark and "cartoonish" looking. Will it eventually fade with time? And also, Propper is an actual military uniform manufacturer for the U.S. military, right? They're not some knockoff brand? One last thing, my BDUs say "Made in the Dominican Republic" on the tag. Is there any aesthetic or otherwise difference between these and the U.S. made ones? Thanks.
Propper is the real deal and Army 'koisher' for all intent and purposes. All uniforms will wear and fade (Example: ACU) and will usually look better but brand new uniforms are clean, bright and well, just new. BDU's have been produced by countless companies though, I think Propper is just the current lowest bidder that won the contract to make MARPAT and ACU uniforms. As for mean in the Dominica I'm not sure. It's kind of funny because a lot of US Bases forbid anything that's not made in America. No chance you can get us pictures?
I have all genuine 80-90's M81 from my father's service, and they all pretty much look the same, they're all from different companies and I have a set made by Propper somewhere around here. I even have genuine M81 made by American Apparel :v:
Dammit, somehow my AK wont shoot anymore. I tried checking it and it seems like the gears are jammed. Is there any way to solve this problem?
What did you check? Tell us exactly what the problem is, maybe we can help but you have to give us a lot of information. What kind of gun are we working with as well? Brand and what not, model, etc. They're all a bit different so that helps as well.

I'll try to find out more about the gun, its quite old.
Well, that's about all I needed to know regarding the gun. Now describe us the problem in detail. Noises and what not.
Well, that's about all I needed to know regarding the gun. Now describe us the problem in detail. Noises and what not.
Well, when I pull the trigger. A small *krak* sound comes out from the motor and it doesn't shoot. I check the motor and it's working perfectly which makes me suspect that there is a problem with the gears.
There are a few things to try. Adjusting the motor height (Not positive how to do this on an AK) to see if that works and making sure the battery is charged/not dead or dieing are by far the easiest. (I had a dead battery that didn't hold a charge, assumed it was the gun, could have saved a lot of grief) Anything beyond that may involve taking apart the gearbox. I don't own an AK so hopefully our resident Commies can help you. Just know that it voids your warranty (if you still have one) So it's the motor making this noise or the gears inside? Does it sound like it's trying to cycle but jamming? It could be burnt out or misaligned trigger contacts too. It's all speculation though.

Don't know where you can get them any more, but they were about $80-$100 when they were common. If it works it was just a gear jam, if not, it could be a lot more things.

You can basically perform CPR by connecting a more powerful battery and firing - this will unjam it. Depending on the model, you could also manually trip the anti-reversal latch with a small tool to release it - this doesn't require taking it apart much, only the motor needs to come out. The battery method is definitely the easiest; I've fixed an awful BE SL8 and a UTG MP5 with that trick. [editline]6th March 2011[/editline] Remember to always fire your AEG twice on semi-automatic before storing it to decompress the spring. That should avoid this issue in the future
I'm buying a CM M4 today and wanted a box of midcaps. Could I get a link to some good ones?
I use DBoys 110rd Midcaps, you can find them on ASMS, I like them, they fit well and they don't misfeed.
so i wanna buy a ak type airsoft rifle what producer makes the best ak type weapons?
so i wanna buy a ak type airsoft rifle what producer makes the best ak type weapons?
The CYMA AK-47 is the most common, cheapest AK. It's also probably the best starting AEG. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=23921 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1484
