Yes, very much so. Even Crosman .2 bb's are complete shit. Stay away from them. I reccomend TSD .25's.
Well I purchased those Airsoft Elite .2's, so that should be good, right?
Yes.
Stick with good quality .20's and up.
personally, I like .25's, they cut through the brush, but .20's will work fine for you.
I run ~bio-bbs
since we pretty much need to when we play on this dude's farm

There's also consistency, size, strength, etc in a BB.
I use Biovals and Airsoft Elites most of the time though.

i've probably used like 40,000 or so of their bbs..

na i've probably used atleast 20,000
I tried them and I thought they were really bad, when you hit stuff they explode as if they are .12.
I've been using Biodegradable G&G bb's as of late, and before that, some airsplat branded bb's. I haven't had any sort of problem with any of them. I have had a problem with crosman .2 though. One of those bbs broke my friends gas pistol. I have no idea how, and it probably wasn't totally broken, but it jammed up when he pulled the trigger and nothing came out. I haven't seen him use it recently, so I think he threw it out.

you got the shit stuff then!
Yeah, I got Crosman stuff.
I'll stick to the Elites, since the Crosmans are .12g anyway.
Do people usually collect and reuse BB's when possible? Or is that a bad idea?

don't ever do this
Bad idea. When bb's hit stuff they get dirt on them and can even fragment. This can cause things like getting your bb's stuck in the mag or barrel, mess up your hop-up and cause inaccuracy.
What about simple target practice? If I happen to be, say, shooting a cardboard box, is it safe to retrieve my BB's?
Don't run them through your gun, trust us.
Nope, not worth the risk at all.
non-clearsoft guns are built pretty precisely, with pretty tight tolerances. a little chip in the bb could misfeed and jam up your gearbox or someshit.
Okay. That's kind of a bummer, but oh well! Why is my order still pending... :frown:
Whats a good brand MP5? I have never gotten into anything electric before in airsoft, I dont know shit about them.
Only used gas and bolt pulls, 'cause I thoguht it was gonna be similar maintenance to my paintball gear. the gas, that is. It wasn't.
ICS makes a good MP5 from what I've heard.
G&G's MP5's are pretty solid as well. Just about anything G&G is pretty good, lol.
Ender's the ICS MP5 guy
I cant find either with the SD shroud and a sliding buttstock D:
I dont want no PDW shit.
Still pending after 2 hours. Is this normal with AirsoftGI?

It could even be like that for a day or two.
I'd say give the ICS MP5 series a shot if you got the budget. I got to review one and I was impressed with it, sure beat the CA MP5A4 I had about a year ago.
Here's a MP5SD3 (their label on ASGI is wrong, SD6 would have an ambidextrous lower). Only downside is it's the older SD3 style, meaning the selector is only on the left side and the pistol grip is built for right handed use.

Holy shit some company must have bought the Elvin Knights Millipede design and is now marketing it as a paintball gun. Its basically a single shot derringer that uses Tanaka shotgun shells.
