Echo1 rebrands other guns and sells them for about 1.5x as much. That specific gun is a CYMA. CYMA is a great brand to buy guns from, they have just about anything to fit your price range. [editline]12th March 2011[/editline] That was a joke btw...
I assumed those weren't real quotes but they are still good. [editline]12th March 2011[/editline]
Echo 1 AKs are just rebranded Cyma and Dboys. And you really don't want a railed AK, they look ugly. Get something like this instead. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_211&products_id=4342
One thing I care about but probably shouldn't is aesthetics. I would prefer a tan or black AK. This is my primary interest currently. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=408_416&products_id=4735

The only difference in these guns appears to be the names and pictures. =P Why would you pay 60-70$ more. Someone please explain. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4735 http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3498
Internals.
Ah thanks. Also, I was reading Airsoft GI's website and read this. Use of Bad BBs: The use of any poor quality BBs such as those sold at but not limited to; Walmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, K Mart, Big 5, etc., will completely void any gun's warranty. The aforementioned BBs should be disregarded and not used. They are of poor quality and will damage the airsoft guns we sell. Ipurchase my BBs at Dicks Sporting Goods. So if I were to use these would it void the warranty? All they are are crossman premiums .20s.
They are still pretty bad despite being .2s.
Hmm, dang. I dont want to order my BBs off the Internet. Me and all my friends who play all use the same BBs though. They cant really be too damaging to a gun could they?
There are many factors that judge a BB to be good or bad. Consistency, weight, density, strength of the BB (so the fucker doesn't break in your gun), shit like that affects the BB. Crosman has shit BBs. [editline]12th March 2011[/editline] Pretty much, with bad BBs, you can have them break in your gun, jam your gun easier, etc, it isn't worth the loss of a gun over bad bbs, use good ones.

Fixed the url. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4735 Just realized something that makes me not want that gun. 10 pounds. Too heavy.
What would happen if you cut off the hideous cone tip on this instead of spraypainting it black? And is it safe to spraypaint it black, since paint might get in the barrel? http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2903 [editline]12th March 2011[/editline] Oh and what would be some common things in a Metro 2033 loadout, if anyone is experienced in them?

If you painted it nothing would happen, a bit of paint in the barrel won't matter. Sometimes those flashhiders are just two pieces of orange plastic super glued together, that come off easily. As far as Metro 2033 loadouts go, I'm not sure that anyone has made one before.

Good luck cutting through metal if you don't have the right tools 2. It would look stupid if you cut it off, seen it done before. Just unscrew the flash hider and spray paint it, easiest way. If it won't come off or is loctited, open the gun and remove the inner barrel and hop-up assembly.
Would the Dboys ak74 magazines work with their AKS 74?
Old news in the paintball world. It also fires a scattershot BB shell. They also make this: [img_thumb]http://www.goblinpaintball.com/files/Deuce8.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://www.goblinpaintball.com/files/cropped.jpg[/img_thumb]

Would the Dboys ak74 magazines work with their AKS 74?
Yep.
Anyone know how good of a manufacturer CYMA is in their AK line?
I would say they're good and cheap, but from my personal experience (my little brother), it's falling apart after ~5 games. Part of the trigger snapped off, it got stuck in full auto, the fire selector fell off so now it's stuck in safety, and the upper part of the reciever(?) is a bitch to get back on. Other than that, it has been a great gun.
Ipurchase my BBs at Dicks Sporting Goods. So if I were to use these would it void the warranty? Someone needs a hug. :ohdear:
Someone needs a hug. :ohdear:
He's asian. He probably would stab you with his hidden ninja knife.
Bwahaha, I love you guys. But in all seriousness, don't use the softair or crossman BBs, I'm using some generic brand right now and they're great but the others I've used before suck major bum hole. I had to take apart every single piece of one of those wal-mart guns to unclog the barrel of it (the whole length of it was stuffed with multi colored BBs). A few tips for choosing BBs: threadless, .20-.25, nongeneric, 6mm, biodegradable, and threadless. The only good thing to come out of this perdiciment: a personal best speed record for stripping a non-field stip gun and putting it back together. 10lbs. can be a bit much, I understand, which is why you (if possible, I have no idea what gun he was looking at) should buy the ergonomic grips and such. Also, you'd want to use the seemingly useless functions of your gun (collapsable stock, adjustable stock, adjustable foregrip) all of those things relate to some important ergonomics which, if ignored, can be quite taxing on your body. Sorry that I called MadPro a bitch.
i've been using white crosman .20s for the past few years they're surprisingly good
There's a Sports Authority by my house. Are you sure they stock TSD's? Do they stock any other high-quality BB's? I really don't wanna have to order all of my BB's off of the internet.
How's this gun? My friend wants me to get back into airsoft, so I'm looking at guns. http://www.weaponblender.com/index.php?productID=1786 And how the hell would I mod it to look like this? http://www.weaponblender.com/index.php?productID=1786&picture_id=2226 Same product.
You need to buy extra parts and a P90 box mag (If I remember correctly someone said if you don't have a m4 mag in the box mag it doesn't work well) and that is about it, that store has barely any selection of guns. Go look at guns on ASGI gives more bang for buck and more selection. Anyone want to suggest a cheap-ish combat/tactical flashlight that is durable and decently bright?

Also, why would you want to make your P90 look like that? It looks dumb as hell.
