Three things:
1) Is it bad for your gun to dry-fire it?
2) Should I unplug the battery when I'm not using it? If so, why?
3) How long does a fully-charged battery usually last, and how will I know when it's time to charge it again?
1. Yes
2. Yes, it drains the battery.
3. Depends on how long it lasts. You recharge it when it stops shooting.

1) Dry firing (pulling trigger without battery in) does no harm. Blank-firing (shooting the gun without ammo) might damage electric guns; there is disputed evidence but it's better not to.
2) If your gun has a really tricky battery spot like an M4's handguard battery, you might just want to leave it in. If it's easy to put in and out, though, just leave it lying around outside. It's just another level of safety against negligent discharge or an electrical problem if something happens.
3) Battery duration is a function of the battery's amperage and the efficiency of your motor/gearbox. A general rule is that a 1100mAh can fire around 1100 shots before needing to recharge. You can notice a gradual slowdown in ROF and sound as your battery's mAh level begins to run low; this can take 30 or so shots before it just goes completely dead. Li-Po batteries don't have this slowdown, they just stop when they're out.
What's the difference between the JG Bar 10 (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2493) and the JG Bar 10 G-Spec (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2790)?
So about the ghillie suit: thinking I'll build my own (either from a kit or the "home-grown" instructions) and my brother will be ordering his.
Links to the kit and guide, respectively:

Here's the one my brother will be ordering:

One is shorter and has a silencer. Instead of using burlap strings for your ghillie, use dyed rags. It won't get caught on everything as easily.
I was going to answer your questions but I see that you already have that covered.

Jute (twine-ish stuff), not burlap. :buddy:
Edit:
So, assuming that I make my own, which would be the better choice? From scratch or kit? Kit would come in handy, just for the convience of it, but you use the volleyball netting in the diy.

Same thing, it will get caught on EVERYTHING.
I'm not sure why I asked #3, but that 1 MaH = 1 shot rule is super useful.
Have some wrenches.
Does Illinois apply for free shipping on orders over 100$ on airsoft GI?
Where in Illinois are you? If you're close to Joliet we might be able to go to some games later in the year at this place.

Will someone please help me find a Colt Navy airsoft version?

Unless Illinois has broken off from the federal government and declared themselves an independent government and country.

I live like four hours away, 200~ miles. V:v:V PM me if you wana talk more about that.

Does anyone else think an AK74 with the stock removed would look awesome for a Russian loadout? And hopefully soon I'll begin ordering small things for the STALKER loadout like a Russian veschmeshok and a PMG gasmask, sadly the filters are toxin now so I can't use it with the filter on.

Why not use the stock?
Not that I don't like the stock or anything, but I think it'd look cool, if I use the stock I'll probably wrap something around it. V:v:V

No. Makes it hard as hell to aim with. This is my dads AK74 that I was using that has no stock (latch broke) and it was a pain to use without a stock.

lol pictures of ender are copyrighted v:v:v
I can see how that'd get annoying, it looks nice though, maybe something to do when you're having a casual battle against a few friends.
Agreed. I about came when I saw they were selling fixed revolvers at our local gun range. Here, I found a pretty decent one for airsoft not too long ago: http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Gas_Pistols_SMGs_Marushin_Marushin_X_Cartridge_Super_Blackhawk_7_5_Inch_HW_Silver.htm unfortunatly, they're out of stock, but it's good for me (I still have time to beat you to it!).
Will be ordering by the end of the night if I'm doing the kit. Anyone have anything to throw at me before I do?
Use rags not strings. Mix dyes to get better colors. Make sure you have a BDU base before you start. That's all I can think of to help.
I need help! I recently moved and while moving, the orange tip on my gun cracked off. I have no clue how, I removed the remaining pieces, and while playing casually with my friends, I need a substitute to paint orange and put in the barrel.
http://www.hobbytron.com/GreenGasSmithandWessonSW40FPistolBlackFPS350AirsoftGun.html
I bought it before I knew anything about airsoft, bought it at a local store.
What are these?

Also, does anyone know where I can purchase ballistic lenses for a Russian PMG gasmask for airsoft? Or a cheap Avon S10 with tinted ballistic lenses?
You don't NEED the orange tip. For the most part, the orange tip is only one there for shipping into the states.
Most fields don't even care if you have them or not.
Seeing as you're playing casually, i assume you mean in the woods, which i wouldn't necessarily recommend due to past experience.
But if you REALLY want it, you can easily just buy some orange fluorescent spray paint, and wrap the slide with painters tape leaving the end uncovered and spray evenly.
Of course if that's all plastic, you need a primer on there first.

I'm sorry, I forgot to add this, the area where we will be playing is a small brush area in my friend's backyard, which is quite large, but the brush area is near his neighbors house, who is a uptight police officer. This office also wrote me a ticket out of uniform for riding my bike about 100 yards to my friends house without a helmet. Rather be safe than sorry, eh? I'm only using this gun because they're too scared to let me use my KWA SR12.
Isn't there some sort of threading I can buy?
You're an odd case really, most people either don't give a fuck about the tips or take them off.
To my knowledge you can't buy a new tip.
Honestly knowing his reputation I imagine him being the kind to pull a gun on us if we don't have 8 inch orange tips. Or *snicker* UK friendly airsoft guns.
Only option would be either to paint the front of the slide like is seen on some TM and KWA pistols, or superglue a piece of orange plastic to the front.
My tm didn't come with the front slide orange, i just got the inner barrel "dipped" into the orange paint.

almost looks like my tan desert locusts, but it's a bit different.. not sure actually.
Also, I want to give my P226 "nightsights", only I can't afford tritium, nor can I get my hands on any.
Where would I buy a container of amber glow in the dark paint?
