I mean like weapons that are designed solely for the support role, like the PKM, RPD, Pecheneg, M249, Mk.48, M249, etc. The actual differences irl would be the barrel would be replaced with a heavier version to avoid overheating, and a more complex firing mechanism for sustained fire.
Unless the real life counterpart fits those guidelines, it generally isn't designed to be a support weapon.
You listed M249 twice. :v:
Hng, meant to say M240 one of those two times.
fixedd
All this talk about support weapons reminds me that one of my friends showed me an airsoft PKP that some guy in Russian made.
Random question: Is the 6sh92 always worn over body armor because I kinda want to make an impression of infantry or something similar while not spending goddamn $300+ on a bulky vest
Kinda like whether the flc is worn by itself
From the russian gear thread
One of my teammates is going to build a PKM of his AKS-74 and other teammate is building a vintorez :)
Only internals are going to be from an old gun..
I have absolutely no gear. Should I go straight to a plate carrier, or should I get something else?
It might.. I've no clue.
Well, I guess I'll just buy one from a local store, as I would hate to pay for something, wait for it to ship out, and then have it not work.

Get the Condor chest rig instead, it's only $20 on Airsoft GI.
So here's my cart, any thing I should add or get rid of?

Two questions, would I be better off buying the eyewear at a surplus store, could I get a better deal there? And what other mags can the G&G M14 take?
The G&G M14 only takes G&G and CA mags.

surplus stores are cheap as fuck and the one near me sells non-surplus commercial shit like tru-spec for DIRT CHEAP. hell the dude sold me an ACU combat shirt for half off, 30 dollars. probably cus the dood likes me
Ok, so drop the goggles, which I can probably find cheaper. And thanks Tae, I was gonna buy CYMAs cause they were cheap but then i remembered that they may not work.
I doubt that it always is. Remember that this is the Russian army, nothing is standard.

Is there an ak74 that can hold a large battery within its stock (and have a strong bolt pull like that of the G&G, although that would be just a bonus). Also, do cyma and dboys have their own websites?
So after playing in my first skirmish with my new M4, the hop up seems to be malfunctioning. All my BB's, be it .2's or .25's, they drop to the ground. I really don't know whats going on, the BB's can't be too heavy can they? I tested it with both and they both drop so it leads me to believe the hop up is broken/malfunctioning.

Link to the gun you have?

It's a one piece hop up.
Ah, looks like it is the hop-up, does it still have a warranty?
Also just saying, I would have gotten this instead: http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AEG_AEP_G_G_G_G_CM16_Carbine_Black.htm
My CM's outer barrel seems to be wobbling pretty badly, but just the part after the ring that holds the handgaurd on (beginning of front sight post to flash hider)
Can somebody give me advice on how to fix it?

It's under warranty but I know how to replace a hop up so I'm going to see if I can fix it myself or get a new hop up because I had to take the whole thing apart, replace the hop up, and change the plastic body to a metal one.
You did it wrong

Also, I gotta spray my gun green again! So I'm just gonna go build a boxfort...
[editline]11th April 2011[/editline]
But then again I might not, arrghhh I don't know if the site would mind me not being a UKARA member.

ohgodohgodohgod
How did you manage that.
I took my handgaurds off, looked at it, and it slid off.
I have deduccted the cause of the problem: two hex screws need tightening, and my hex key won't be able to get in there because of the disc that holds the handgaurds.
Does anyone know of any loop hole, what so ever, to get around not having a UKARA license in the UK?
Apart from two tone.

You could buy second hand off a friend 'as a gift', or say you are borrowing it. Or paint your two tone and say that it's too easy to spot you with bright colours on your gun. But still either aren't really legal.
But really, if you're above 18 you may as well get one to cover you. Better safe than sorry.
Just a random question, if you have an M4 do you play with the dust cover on or off?
