so, Lil' Cal eventually became Doc Scratch through the gene altering process, who will tell Rose about the green sun and how if they destroy it he will die, and then that will cause the downfall of Jack when the kids eventually go and destroy said sun, and all of this happened because Jack wanted to keep Cal to be his trophy.

So it is all John's fault if that happens?

"Absolutely no redeeming qualities" is a pretty intense thing to say. She at least felt guilt over killing Tavros. She's not perfect, that's for sure, but not every character can or should be perfect anyway. You need variety for the story to be interesting as well as to be interesting. If you didn't have that, you'd just have a collection of mild-mannered, bland people sitting in a living room discussing fruit cake.

The codes are seemingly of the exact same nature as the "meow" code that turned Bec into a first guardian. It can then be assumed that the "ticktock" code is part of Doc Scratch's plan to help create Lord English as it references his time infatuation, and the "breakheads" thing sounds like another billiards reference, which may either A) be Doc Scratch's own creation code or B) Be another LE code.
