I used to really hate Jade, but seeing her slap around what was essentially the past version of herself made me like her more :v:
I wouldn't say that. "Absolutely no redeeming qualities" is a pretty intense thing to say. She at least felt guilt over killing Tavros. She's not perfect, that's for sure, but not every character can or should be perfect anyway. You need variety for the story to be interesting as well as to be interesting. If you didn't have that, you'd just have a collection of mild-mannered, bland people sitting in a living room discussing fruit cake.
"Redeeming qualities" is relative to perspective. To a typical human with morals, what Vriska did was wrong; she murdered an individual close to her. But she felt guilt, which shows some form of a conscience and the ability to feel empathy. But in Troll culture, for the aristocracy to feel guilty over the execution of a lowblood is a sign of weakness, not strength. That's why Vriska told John about Tavros' murder; she couldn't talk to any of the other trolls for fear of retribution and because of their culture, but a human would know what she was feeling.
It's also the reason that she lost her eye and Aradia lost her life, because empathy conflicted with the designated culture that they were accustomed to. Vriska punished Tavros for disobeying her by crippling him, so Aradia sent the ghosts of the all the trolls she had killed to haunt her forever or until she learned empathy. Vriska responded by killing the lowblood who was lashing out at an obvious superior, and Terezi enacted justice by using Doc Scratch as a reacharound to kill her in revenge for Aradia's death and Tavros's crippling. Vriska, in typical blueblood nature, backstabbed Terezi by blinding her.
She fears that she is losing her redeeming qualities as a troll, but she may have gained some known to humans. And since Sburb shows the results of its players as they mature, she fears she may have failed a crucial test as a maturing troll.
Yeah, but if he gets sent back in the reckoning, where does he get ectobioligisised? There was only 24 wrigglers made in the lab that we know of.
well, do you remember what the Draconian Dignitary did with Bec? he took the code and used paradox slime to make him, and then he somehow ended up with Jade. Most likely something happened along the same lines with Doc Scratch and Lil Cal. just because we only saw the 24 wrigglers doesn't mean that someone didn't go back.
My friend Sparkwire made this awesome wallpaper for me!

Why does the imp need a gun with muscles like that?

You just can't quit the life of an irredeemably creepy lurch of a man can you?
Your unerringly disturbing fantasies are like a universal constant.
The sun rises and sets, gravity keeps us from floating, DimJim is a scary asswad.

this is my reaction to pretty much any fanart ever
that picture from the calender was an abomination and should never be seen by the light of day. why on earth would you post a section of said image? it is freaky as all hell and nobody wants to be reminded of its existence.
