No, that's the thing: A First Guardian is nigh-indestructible and is immortal. Becquerel has lived for 413 million years on Earth, and Doc Scratch has lived for presumably 612 million years/sweeps and cannot kill himself, that's why he needs Rose to go detonate his power source so he [I]can[/I] die. Dave stated that John is the strongest human, and he stood absolutely no chance against Jack Noir, being incapacitated in one stab. Such a blade to cut off his finger would have to be unbelievably strong, and so instead of finding such an impossibly powerful weapon they decided to reduce the difficulty in damaging him by rendering him mortal and able to be killed with the weapons they have.

Got my Homestuck shirts today, they was packaged in a box with wrap over 2 shirts, total of 4 shirts. The wrap was held together by sticky tab that had something written on it, there was two of them.

If you recall from the update, the blood mostly came from the front, it would make sense in my opinion, more vital organs in the front, spine in the back.
