I think people worked out the references in the sword ages ago, just didn't see that it would create Doc Scratch.

I'm joking about Dave, mainly just on how Dave always freaked out about Cal watching him and in general making him uneasy. I know Andrew's just joking around, I just thought it would be amusing if Dave walked in "So uh you wanted to see me" and Scratch is just "Hee hee hoo hoo haa haa" or some dumb shit. My last few post haven't been serious, hence the all caps as I was trying to get that across :shobon:

Dave and Davesprite were wondering why a Welsh sword was even in the game in the first place after Dave broke it from its pedestal and pissed Hephaestus off.

And guys, Doc Scratch was created with a Magic Cue Ball, not a Magic 8-Ball.

Doc Scratch's origin remains a stable time loop, since it was never appearified to the Veil station because Scratch detonated it, instead creating paradox slime of the ball that was sucked into the ectobiology machine and combined with the paradox slime of Lil Cal and the codes. If you try to appearify something when it already had a future, the machine will not appearify it to prevent a temporal paradox and instead create genetic slime that could create the object that was intended to be appearified in the first place, if the ectobiology machine used was a perfected model.
