Prove me he's a great president, based on what I said. Prove wrong what I said and we're even. PS I hated Bush too
Prove me he's a great president, based on what I said. Prove wrong what I said and we're even. PS I hated Bush too
Never said he was great but he is far from the worst.
Never said he was great but he was far from the worst.
Well yeah he's not as shitty as like Woodrow Wilson. lol but he's not some deity like CNN and etc make him out to be.
First President to Defy a Federal Judge’s Court Order to Cease Implementing the ‘Health Care Reform’ Law.
I don't know what news sources are filling your head with this garbage, but this never happened either.
Everyone I know, including myself, that hates Obama has real reasons why.
At what time do you show up in the video? Really hoping this is you.
At what time do you show up in the video? Really hoping this is you.
Yeah pretty sure I already clarified my side in a nice way above. You're just being a flaming douche.
List
Lol you never included the myth where Obama spent billions upon billions on vacation fundings. I am disappointed
Lol you never included the myth where Obama spent billions upon billions on vacation fundings. I am disappointed
Not sure how I feel about that though. At least he's not like Bush where 2/3+ of his terms were speant on vacation.
It was voted on before anyone read it and the people who voted on it have said this.
well ya there's that i forgot about that, but still to call it blatant socialism without actually considering what its doing is dumb
well ya there's that i forgot about that, but still to call it blatant socialism without actually considering what its doing is dumb
Voting on something like Obamacare without reading it at all is more stupidity than anything, I'll side with you.
The idea that no one read the ACA is hilarious. It's a law that was written over a period of several years in collaboration with public agencies and private corporations and modeled off existing marketplace style health exchanges. It's an absurd conspiracy theory spun out of a dumb soundbite. I have my reservations about certain provsions but the line of thinking that no one read it so it's bad is so childish. [editline]12th January 2015[/editline]
Highest debt in US history by one administration. All money borrowed from China. Now, China can say "hey let's use the Euro." Then the US becomes as poor as Cuba.
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Excessive use of executive orders
Compared to who?
There are two sides to this.
There aren't two sides to this, there aren't two sides to anything. It's a pretty big misconception that does nothing but polarize American politics and lead to bickering instead of actual problem-solving. There's no "good and evil", there are different policies, with different means to achieve different ends, and the fact that the US has only two big political parties leads to them disagreeing with each other just for the sake of it, instead of reasonably analyzing said policies
also 'we have the best ____ in the world' is the most american statement I've ever heard [editline]12th January 2015[/editline] muh merge
FTFY everyone here (at least where i live) will have you believe "MURICA IS THE BEST COUNTRY" while keeping a straight face
Voting on something like Obamacare without reading it at all is more stupidity than anything, I'll side with you.
to be fair, while actual congressmen didn't read the bill, they had legal people and pages read it for them and tell them what might be a problem, these people haven't actually read anything at all
I couldn't bear to watch the video past the lady saying that the US has the best healthcare in the world. We're up there as far as patient outcomes go, but we pay about 2-3 times too much for it. Why bother cutting a few million from the budget here and there if we could save upwards of 2 trillion dollars a year with properly implemented government health care? Health care is definitely not suited for capitalism, because you can't really put a price on your own health.
Your average protestor.

Yes, it is a tax. No shit. Why is that bad? oh no, we're working together to not be ill, how terrible
The best part is that our lovely agentfazexx complained that it is a tax. Yes, it is a tax. No shit.
Only took til the second line for things to get critically stupid Thinking that all or even the majority of US debt comes from China says you should SERIOUSLY re-examine which news sources you listen to. The rest of the list only reinforces that.
Don't bother. agentfazexx is beyond council. The guy is just a moron who shitposts in every thread to turn it into a flamewar.
And if you don't want to "work with us" we'll imprison you and take your possessions! Long live socialism!
You've got cancer and no money to show for it? Tough shit, go sit in the gutter and die. Long live savage capitalism!
And if you don't want to "work with us" we'll imprison you and take your possessions! Long live socialism!
Guess what, that same shit happens in a capitalistic society, that's what a "debt" is
Guess what, that same shit happens in a capitalistic society, that's what a "debt" is
I thought you could default on your debts; declare yourself bankrupt, and start from the scratch.
I thought you could default on your debts; declare yourself bankrupt, and start from the scratch.
Yeah, the same way you can stop paying taxes by quitting your job, which is about as good of an idea
1:58 - 2:03 Only honest man in the entire protest there.
Guess what, that same shit happens in a capitalistic society, that's what a "debt" is
The key difference being that you're not forced by law to indebt yourself. Welfares state are completely dependent on the immoral practice of taking peoples money, under the threat of violence. This is a violation of basic human rights and protesting against it is justified.

If you don't like the laws in your country, move somewhere else. After all, you're allowed to.
The key difference being that you're not forced by law to indebt yourself.
Yes you are. If you get badly injured you can be forced to be treated by doctors. Police will actually hold you down while they sedate you if necessary. And if it's determined you can afford to pay for it, you have to. You don't know what you're talking about.
Yes you are. If you get badly injured you can be forced to be treated by doctors. Police will actually hold you down while they sedate you if necessary. When you wrote "capitalistic society" this was my interpretation but you may wish to clarify. The US certainly has both capitalist and socialist attributes.
The key difference being that you're not forced by law to indebt yourself.
How are they supposed to indebt yourself when those taxes are proportional to your income? [editline]14th January 2015[/editline]
Welfares state are completely dependent on the immoral practice of taking peoples money, under the threat of violence. This is a violation of basic human rights and protesting against it is justified.
So according to you the government shouldn't levy taxes to fund road maintenance, the electricity grid, the army or the police? The "Free" society ideal you seem to be holding is just as impractical as a communist one.
Any deeper political discussion isn't really relevant to the topic. This is where I stand ideologically. And while I have a pragmatic, conservative approach to "realpolitik" I respect anyone that questions and protests against infringement of rights.
