If you want to watch a good movie about immortality watch "The Man from Earth"
I swear to you, it's probably the most interesting film I have seen in a long time. The acting is decent, good enough to draw you in, and the plot it so fantastic it totally justifies it being set in just one room.
The trailer sucks, hard. It's a B-film, sure, but I enjoyed this film more than i have most Hollywood films.
Plot: "An impromptu goodbye party for Professor John Oldman becomes a mysterious interrogation after the retiring scholar reveals to his colleagues he is an immortal who has walked the earth for 14,000 years."

Right, there is no flashbacks, but the movie doesn't need it either. I know it isn't exactly what you're looking for, buy you should definetly check it out!
