He looks pretty normal, also he draws naked pictures of underage characters because why not. Don't know what that says about film taste though.
what
what
Can't edit the post for some reason, but either way it would appear that the character wasn't meant to be underage, and it was only once.
taste is universal
didn't mean to derail the thread though, the movie's probably shit
it's just funny how so many of these youtube-era reviewers who act like a bastion of taste look like total neckbeards with no feel for aesthetics whatsoever
"wow he has facial hair and doesn't wear $300 glasses, he must arbitrarily like everything I dislike"

"taste is universal"
This can't be true, after all you actually made some pretty cool things despite your taste in personality traits being absolutely garbage.
if you have good taste in movies then you probably have good taste in clothing and haircuts as well, and a good sense of aesthetics
a good life philosophy is to never listen to the recommendations of someone who wears cargo shorts, for example
i have no idea who moviebob is but i google images'd him and i wouldn't follow his recommendations either
or jim sterling
That's the most pretentious crap I've read here since that wickedplayer post and that's saying something.
Yep, yep Movieblob his appearance matters.
Why does anybody still pay attention to him?
Frankly the main thing I loathe of this film's creation is it being created in such a manner after Harold Ramis's death. It just should have not been made after his passing as it leaves a taste of bile. At best they should have simply tested the waters with a tv show with the original cast, then consider prospects of a film after reception.
what does this have to do with anything though, what
About as much as fashion taste and your opinions on movies I suppose. It was a dumb jab, I'll admit.
taste is universal
You can't buy other people titles anymore, right?
Asking for a friend.
If your life philosophy is "wow they dont dress the nicest, they probably have shitty opinions" then you're a shitty judgemental asshole.
You're right :)
It's not about having to "dress nice", it's about not dressing really bad because it proves you have no sense of aesthetics, and because of that aren't someone fit to critic a visual medium. Dressing neutral would be fine
are you going to make any actual arguments?
what would you say about the opinions in the video if it was just audio?
It's not about having to "dress nice", it's about not dressing really bad because it proves you have no sense of aesthetics, and because of that aren't someone fit to critic a visual medium. Dressing neutral would be fine
Some people don't give a shit, maybe because they assume that people are able to look beyond their appearance.
It's not about having to "dress nice", it's about not dressing really bad because it proves you have no sense of aesthetics, and because of that aren't someone fit to critic a visual medium. Dressing neutral would be fine
So which arts degree did you graduate with? PhD in Snootology?
It's not about having to "dress nice", it's about not dressing really bad because it proves you have no sense of aesthetics, and because of that aren't someone fit to critic a visual medium. Dressing neutral would be fine
I can't imagine being someone so full of themselves that they think someone who dresses casually or "bad" (because that's not objective, right?) means they apparently can't critique movies.
Holy shit I just realized who you are, are you a movie critic version of the main villain of Ratatouille?!?!?

I bet you dress like shit.
The best movie reviews are the ones where you look like you're about to do a fast food review in your dimly lit car! :)
True, but first impressions are important. Looking nice while telling your opinion in a well-produced video gives it legitimacy. Looking like you're a weekend airsofter about to do a fast food review in your dimly lit car doesn't.
Well my first impression of you isn't great, got to be honest.
it kinda does
like, if you look or dress bad then that probably means you have bad taste
I've seen stupid and this is pretty high on the amount of stupid I've seen condensed in a single sentence
Particularly when defending movieblob, the human manatee that gives tips to get fit
Looking nice
define "nice"
gives it legitimacy
why?
I hope when you grow up you're never in a position of power over the career prospects of another individual.
True, but first impressions are important. Looking nice while telling your opinion in a well-produced video gives it legitimacy. Looking like you're a weekend airsofter about to do a fast food review in your dimly lit car doesn't.
yeah, it gives it legitimacy to easily impressed dimwits who think someone's personal appearance in any way reflects how intelligent they are or how insightful their critique is
if you aren't a complete mong you should be able to judge someone's words, creations, and ideas on their own merit
I bet you dress like shit.
I was kind of joking, but I went to his twitter and his picture makes him look homeless with that messy hair.
who gives a fuck how anyone dresses you silly bastard.
So basically this movie is just a cheap cash in towards sjws.
who would have guessed
Why does anybody still pay attention to him?
Same reason people pay attention to guys like Chris-chan.
True, but first impressions are important. Looking nice while telling your opinion in a well-produced video gives it legitimacy. Looking like you're a weekend airsofter about to do a fast food review in your dimly lit car doesn't.
People like Jim Sterling dress objectively bad lol. Dressing casually is fine, as I said
but no, I'm not a movie critic at all, because I don't feel like I watch enough movies or have enough interest in them to have any authority on them
Are you aware what the word "objective" means?
So basically this movie is just a cheap cash in towards sjws.

Yes, they made this movie to only appeal to a small group of people on the internet.
This is how movies make money, by appealing to as little people as possible.

Their marketing campaign that basically amounted to "girlz only, you silly boys :^)" in response to people actually criticizing it kind of alienated a good 50% of potential moviegoers don't you think?

I feel this probably won't deter generic movie goers.
i'm sure this movie is shit! i haven't seen it, and i'm not going to, but that's my gut feeling and i'm staying with it :)
