so r all the positive reviews in on the conspiracy or..?
so r all the positive reviews in on the conspiracy or..?
You say conspiracy like everyone got huddled around a massive oval table in some board room on the 30th floor of a New York skyscraper, with only a single lamp illuminating the room in such a way that nobodies faces could be seen. The fact of the matter is, Sony took advantage of a recent trend in people trying to appear progressive and trendy by attacking those who would dare criticize or call out women in entertainment media for anything with labels for their Ghostbusters reboot. A reboot produced by a near certifiably bat shit crazy lady named Amy Pascal (who at one point seriously legitimately considered an Aunt May spy thriller for an Amazing Spider-Man tie-in), directed by a man-child name Paul Feig who apparently has misandtrist tendencies to make a politically motivated girl power movie that simultaneously takes a massive dump on a classic franchise who many were excited to get a legitimate third installment of. Even if this movie turned out good, i'd still advise people not to see simply because of how fucking scummy Sony was being about it. I hate to make watching films a political choice but its not my fault if thats how they decided to produce and market this piece of shit. [editline]hm[/editline] MisterMooth, would you care to challenge my post?
Here's a follow up of the same guy who reviewed the movie in the OP.

(yes its a bit on the nose there, but its polygon so who cares)

Some reviews are already surfacing. Its not looking good. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/ghostbusters-film-review-909313
The unfunny mess that hits theaters Friday, like a big goopy splat of ectoplasm, will no doubt make those naysayers feel vindicated.

Some reviews are already surfacing. Its not looking good. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/ghostbusters-film-review-909313
reviews have been out for a while and it's nearing 80% on RT lol but let's continue this delusion
So women enjoy garbage when a man tells them they have to to be women? Ok
Just saying, if I directed a movie that was ghostbusters except with all the roles reversed, I'd be fucking crucified. It wouldn't be called boy power, it wouldn't be seen as ultra progressive, it would be seen for what it rightfully is, sexism. So why does this hypocritical piece of shit double standard get a free pass?
reviews have been out for a while and it's nearing 80% on RT lol but let's continue this delusion
There's literally proof that Sony is trying to get rid of/bully negative reviews in this same thread, aswell as reviews being written by people that were perpetrators of "like this movie or you hate women", of course the fucking review pool site is gonna show big numbers. Are you that gullible?

It's not a crazy conspiracy when there's evidence, read the thread Also that's the second time you've used delusion, do you have any other arguments?
patty is an embarrasment to women and black people simultaneously
It's not a crazy conspiracy when there's evidence, read the thread Also that's the second time you've used delusion, do you have any other arguments?
do you honestly genuinely believe that a clear majority of reviewers out there are somehow being forced to write a good review about this film and couldn't possibly be liked by anyone is this something you seriously believe is a logical conclusion to draw
http://archive.is/yGtok Reviews are getting taken down by Sony for not brown-nosing, IGN even re-wrote theirs. Here's an archive of Vanity's just in case theirs gets taken down. Second review I read that says Chris Hemsworth was the best actor in the film of the main cast.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/RQu6Tiz.jpg[/t]
You're also strawmanning hardcore shifting the definition of what we're talking about
This thread was a wild ride from beginning to end and the sad part is the movie is still bad regardless. Way to shit on a classic movie franchise that could have been left dead, sony
this conspiracy is so batshit that it's funny. somehow a majority of reviewers are all in on this and nobody could possibly enjoy the film because I and all my internet dudes say so you're delusional
Reread my previous post, carefully this time, instead of making your mind up when you hear the"internet people being called bad names and it might not be necessarily true!" part. [editline]11th July 2016[/editline] Funny, you know, that the "Top Critics" section shows that the movie is divisive among what appears to be actual professional or respected critics. Mostly. Buzzfeed is there. Somehow.

THE WRITING IS TERRIFIC The film’s secret weapons are Katie Dippold and director Paul Feig; they co-wrote it. Feig directed Bridesmaids, The Heat and Spy, and a lot of episodes of The Office and Nurse Jackie. He also wrote Spy and TV’s Freaks and Geeks, among other things. Katie Dippold wrote The Heat and was one of the writers on Parks and Recreation and MADtv. She’s the pen behind Amy Schumer’s upcoming mother-daughter comedy with Goldie Hawn. Together, she and Paul Feig create comedy gold.
The power of christ compels you....
also just a reminder that it's got a 3.8 out of 10 on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/?ref_=nv_sr_1 here are some user reviews: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289401/reviews?ref_=tt_urv

The fact that the reviews allowed up before the embargo is lifted only manage to hit 70+% is pretty telling of how bad its probably going to get ripped apart when it actually does release.
Take this review from a "Top Reviewer" and try to find the parts that actually talk about the movie itself: http://www.torontosun.com/2016/07/10/ghostbusters-review-five-reasons-the-all-female-reboot-rocks
oh god
5. THE INTERNET TROLLS WERE WRONG Seriously — with all that’s at stake in a movie this beloved, did you really think Ivan Reitman, Dan Aykroyd, et al would allow a screw-up? Did you actually believe that everyone involved with the first movie and responsible for its iconic status would permit this new movie to be mediocre? Give your head a shake. The idea that an all-female ghost busting team might be a problem is rubbish; the idea that Leslie Jones’ casting is racist because she’s not a scientist is rubbish; the notion that remaking the movie could only be bad is rubbish. What is true, haters, is that girls really do have sharp teeth all up in there. Sorry

oh god
it's not even a review, it's just yelling at the reader about the meta.
By the way, just a reminder, despite the review embargo apparently being lifted on release day with only a select few being approved by Sony beforehand (i may be wrong on this, its what ive heard, if it is, correct me), the score its sitting at is still at a 6.6/10. The Fresh percentage is an aggregated of reviews deemed more positive than negative and more negative than positive.
