Meanwhile the two soldiers above haven't completely abandoned their mission, one slides down a rope whilst the other stands guard to ensure they aren't ambushed. Luckily the elevator is no longer a threat.

The soldiers in the boats below would bear witness to one of the craft's pilots helplessly whiz down and past them at terminal velocity, smashing into the foremost rock and becoming nothing that can be identified as human. The second pilot quickly follows, disappearing into the lake. The WSA spares no delay, diverting the nation's finest to the area as soon as possible.
