Actually Zeke, the new antisemitism in the 20th century is completely different from the old antisemitism of the 19th century and before. The Jews in the middle ages were persecuted for their beliefs and for their customs, but the Nazis didn't care about their religion, they cared about their "race", they were supposedly "scientific", with "proof" that the Jews are inferior and so on. Obviously they targeted the Jews because they were already considered the scapegoats, but there is still a big difference between the "old antisemitism" and the "new antisemitism".
