Alright, that works.
Thanks.

I bet its really obvious, and im just missing it. :v:
Once you log in it should switch back to your language.
Rayven, you have been one of my favourite members on Facepunch for a long time. I've seen your join date of -04 and been thinking for my self, "please don't leave". I don't think anyone had an idea you suffered this badly until you posted the thread. Shows that you don't know much about the person behind the avatar.
Nobody else really knows just how bad it is, not even my own family, I tend to hide stuff like this quite well.
Don't mean to sound dumb, but is there any way at all that you could have this done on the NHS?
Anyway at all

As I mentioned in my other thread, I've seen Neurosurgeons and they refuse to do it because of the odds, so yeah i could have it done on the NHS, but the two different neurosurgeons said the same thing and I doubt I'm going to find one that'll risk it.
I'm seriously crying right now, this is awesome you guy. Rayven, what you're doing is one of the most selfless things I've ever seen. You're an amazing person.
I'd like to ask you guys a favour, if I may, that favour being, spread this thread around, firends, family members, other forums that you go on (but stay within the rules of the forums) I'd like this to get attention and really succeed, not for me, obviously, but for cancer.org and the research it will help fund.
Just think, if every single user online right now, donated JUST $1, that'd be 6K for Cancer.org, if every active member on FP gave just $1, thats like 45 Grand. (Though I think at those levels, paypal would just steal it all)
It's on reddit, they never seem to like anything I post, but I guess you guys could upvote it a little.
I donated $30 to the foundation, I have never contributed to something like this before... All this work you guys do, and Rayven. Wow, you are truly an inspirational person. Truly. All this is so amazing, christ I'm almost crying with you Hunter!
Good luck guys, I'll come back to this thread often to see the progress. I will spread the word, if there is anything else that can help this foundation reach it's goal I'd be more than willing to help!
While it doesn't help my back, all this, what it does do is make me feel warm and fuzzy and good about myself (not meaning to sound egotistical) that I've gotten people to do this, and believe me, that helps, it's not often I can feel good about myself.
being happy that you inspire people to donate money to a separate cause is not egotistical. in fact it's mostly the opposite. maybe there's enough "Rayven's nice" in this thread, but: you're one of those people that's so genuinely nice you make me want to barf.
Sadly, I cannot donate, but hopefully those who are able to can help out with this amazing project.
RayvenQ is such a legend. I wish I was like him  I am flooding my room with tears.
Friday today. And my money is in. Donated 100 bucks.
OP is gonna get a new computer
We're at $427,21 guys! You're awesome!
Right now I feel kind of sad that I just donated $7 when all of you donated incredible amounts of money. Thank you all for that!

It's a team effort man. You've donated something because you wanted to. That's what counts.
Also, sorry to sound hippy, but isn't there a possibility that for example THC cookies can ease your pains? That's to RayvenQ and Pascall.
It's something i'd atleast try with pains like that.
(Kinda) good news guys.
My college decided to waive all tuition.
I only have to save up for this now.
RayvenQ, you truly are an amazing, selfless person, but I think turning down the treatment was a little rash.
I mean you could get the treatment, man. I'm sure we'd all still chip in afterwards as well for cancer research/homeless shelters TOO. You could get the treatment AND others would be getting help too.
You don't cure cancer in one go, or save the world with the snap of your fingers. You do it one person at a time, and I don't see why we can't start with you.

i was going to suggest the same. there are so many people that use THC to ease their pain but i wasnt sure if cannabis was a nice solution for RayvenQ
I have a acute case of Scoliosis, my spine has a curve more forward near my neck so I have a hunchback sort of look. I wish you only the best in your future RayvenQ.

He had a 25% chance of surviving the operation and a 50% chance of landing in a weelchair. The risks are too big and he'd rather had the money go to something that certainly helps people instead of something that might kill Rayven. You can read what he said in the quote in the OP.
And the fact that I, belatedly realised, it'd probably cost a few thousand dollars for the help.
And while it may not immediately help cancer patients and their families, and maybe not in my lifetime, it certainly will help. with homeless shelters its a bit more immediate. If i can help, or through inspiration, cause someone to help, just one person, my suffering will have been worth it.
Ebay wont let me donate to your chipin, but I can donate to cancer research UK if you want.
Or split it 50/50, 50 to Rayven Foundation (By going to me, then you) and 50 to CR-UK.
Going to donate as much as possible later tonight.

That'd be fair enough, to donate it to CRUK.
Be sure to say how much you donated, then we can add it up to the total to see how much has been donated in total.
Walk, I have to, hurts like hell to do so, but i can't really afford to have any other means of transportation.
Oh my god dude you don't have to be this selfless
Us raising money for your surgery->You getting better->You getting a job->A person with income that can donate alot more to the cancer society over the course of his lifetime that a single fundraiser that will be gone, relative to that, soon.
Big chance it won't go like that. I completely understand RayvenQ's reasoning. He just wouldn't want to take the risk. Donating the money will actually help people. Simple as that.
Yes well if there is a 1/10 chance it will work, and we raise 10k, then if he is able to donate 100k in his lifetime then it will be worth it.

As i said, I also belatedly realised that the full cost would be so damn expensive that I doubt FP could/would raise it.
You managed to warm my heart. Not many people can do that. I'll put in Ten USD's.
EDIT:
Nevermind, guess Paypal hates me, won't let me do shit. Sorry guys, next time.
