HBO | Boardwalk Empire - Premiering 19th September - General

Sorry for the bump, but the show's been going on for a while. Current thoughts? I'm liking it, it's another good show from HBO in my eyes. :v:

It's a great show. Not much to really discuss about it though.

So many great characters, Al Capone, the Butler, that sniper, Nucky's brother also since when was Jimmy's girlfriend a lesbian? Did I miss something?

They almost had a bi orgy.

Nelson's creeping me out, he takes his job WAY too seriously, and god knows what the fuck will happen if he actually gets a hold of Margaretha.

Sorry for the bump - again, but we're nearing the season finale now, which is to air on the 5th of December. Things have gotten pretty intense lately, and every scene with Nelson Van Alden is so fucking uncomfortable and disturbing it's unbelievable. Also, did Nucky ever even say "thanks" to his butler [sp]for taking a bullet for him[/sp]?

This will probably be another great american show that the UK takes months/years to show.

Good thing this thread was bumped, clearly we have much to discuss about all the scenes which are basically just porno. [editline]30th November 2010[/editline] The finale is going to be awesome, I just know it.

I hope we're done with the lesbian plot, thing.

I'm glad The Sniper's getting a lot of scenes, he's probably my favorite character. The part where he snipes the guy in the diner was great. Van Alden, though, he's just getting crazier and crazier. Next episode, I wouldn't be surprised if he walked in to Nucky's office and pulled a murder-suicide.

I don't know if I like Van Alden. He seems kind of cartoonish.
