I've had a Samoyed. I still think they're one of the most elegant looking dogs on the planet. Plus they're way too kind for your own good. They also look great no matter how you groom them, thick or thin coat.
How can you say this? Dogs are larger than ever before. There's huge demand for 200 pound mastiffs and things like that. A 150 pound pit bull can go for upwards of 5 grand.
who would pay >$5,000 for a dog? Probably the most I'd ever pay for a dog if I wanted a specific type of dog would be $2,000.
Also a 150 pound pitbull just screams hip dysplasia and other weight related issues down the line, so really you'd be paying $5,000 for a pitbull which will only live to like 7-8 years old before you have to put it down.

Looking online this seems to be a new breed of dog called the Blue Bay Shepard
I want one now
My rule of thumb for dog health is how much it resembles a wolf.
I do wish people would stop getting pugs and similarly fucked up dogs.

The same types of people who pay ten grand for miniaturized dogs that are so tiny you have to carry around a glucose shot in case they randomly slip into a coma.
I don't get why people get such tiny dogs like Pugs or Chihuahuas. Like why not just get a cat? Getting a cat-sized dog just makes no sense in my head. The only benefit I can see is that it's cute, which isn't worth all the downsides imo.

the personality and temperament. In most cases dogs are more active and outgoing than cats.

Small dogs like Chihuahuas are great for living in cities, and they can live a really long time. My maltihuahua's grandma lived into her 20's, and his mom wasn't far behind. He's learned his lessons about cats and knows not to piss them off, though he loves playing with kittens.
