[sp]He did. Vettel has been given a 20 second penalty, pushing him back to 5th.[/sp]
Good, I didn't stick around and watch all the guff at the end of the show so I didn't know at the time. I'm glad because that effectively makes Raikkonen [sp]3rd[/sp] v:v:v
im a straight guy but i would have incredible amounts of gay sex with sebastian vettel id just eat his asshole out and everything

A bit OT, but I think RedBull should get into the road car industry.
Yet another bloody good race today, great work from Lotus
Here are the qualification results from yesterday: So yeah, I think this is going to be a very good race. [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] Also, was Maldonado given a grid place penalty for something? On the result list I saw on the TV, Kimi was 3rd. [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] ALSO, does anyone know why the medium and hard tires are being used in this race? Oh, and when are the super-soft tires used? [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] OH MY GOD WHAT A START [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] .. Hamilton's fault? :v: [editline]2nd September 2012[/editline] Oh wow, this IS going to be a great race!
Bloody hell, that start crash. That was Grosjean's fault, really, resulting in Hamilton shoving into Alonso and Kobayashi, and it seemed like Maldonano and Perez also hit eachother right afterwards. Button got a huge lead right then, and it looks like he is bagging this one.
Oh wow, Karthikeyan should just give up F1. Really.
Fuck being in Alonso's position man, Could you imagine driving like that and all of a sudden some F1 car comes flying across your face, no way man.
I've always though F1 was cool, but being in america its not as popular so I don't know any channels/time that it airs. Any US F1 fan want to help me out?
Hamilton's jimmies were clearly rustled after that kerfuffle with Grosjean, and I can understand why
I'm glad that bellend Grosjean got a ban.
I'm glad that bellend Grosjean got a ban.
That's a bit harsh, I really don't think he should have got a ban for it either. Probably a bit biased coming from me though because I'm just incredibly glad it's going to knock Alonso back on his championship lead

He just kept going right straight into Hamilton.

Any US F1 fan want to help me out?
Apparently it's on some channel called SPEED. Qualifying is on next Saturday at 8:00AM ET and the race is next Sunday at 7:30AM ET. It's pretty early for you since the GP is in Italy.
Won't the Austin race be on US TV?
Did you see the replay? He just kept going right straight into Hamilton.
It was at the start of the race, Maldonado got a jump start and swept out in front of him so I'm sure that knocked his confidence a little and I would assume he wasn't paying much attention as he rolled into Hamilton. Keep in mind that the with the tiniest of adjustments of steering in F1 you can make huge changes in direction. He definitely did not do it purposefully.

Some nice GIFS of the crash on sunday. (Courtesy of Reddit)
Kobayashi was incredibly lucky in that crash. [editline]4th September 2012[/editline] Hey, someone should synch those gifs
He was surely lucky. All because of a slow start aswell. Never knew that something like that would save him.
He was surely lucky. All because of a slow start aswell. Never knew that something like that would save him.
Didn't he race with his whole right sidepod gone?
That mightn't have been the coolest crash, but it certainly was one of the "biggest" in terms of taking out important drivers.
That mightn't have been the coolest crash, but it certainly was one of the "biggest" in terms of taking out important drivers.
Indeed, it took out everyone in the front eight starting positions bar Button and Raikkonen.
Here's the grid for today's race: Looks like it will be another interesting race! [editline]9th September 2012[/editline] I wonder if Alonso will be able to climb from 10th
This is complete bullshit, Di Resta won't get any drive through but Vettel, who instantly let Alonso through. I just hate the decisions more and more...
Well, this was a horrible race for Red Bull. [editline]9th September 2012[/editline] Perez actually did surprisingly well. He's not a bad driver.
I think he has the ambition to replace Massa, which is possible. But well, the new challengers for Alonso are Hamilton and Räikkönen. Red Bull is out for the title. So if no German can win a title, I hope that Hamilton or Räikkönen will do it. I just have no sypathy for Alonso.
Lewis Hamilton is one cool guy.
I think he has the ambition to replace Massa, which is possible.
I hope he stays with Sauber or at least doesn't take Massa's spot. Ferrari treat their no.2 drivers like shit (see: today's race).
Lewis Hamilton is one cool guy.
It was awful watching him be booed by the crowd purely because he isn't Alonso.
