Well, if this isn't true, this'd be a huge libel campaign that's been going on for years, which sounds a bit far-fetched to me. If you google "Elan school" there are a lot of top results about this, as well as testimonies on Youtube, which haven't been uploaded this year, so they're not part of the reddit campaign.

And the second article is also 8 years old, and they're not even talking about the state of Elan school in 2002. They're talking about the mid 1970s where it was common to get smacked with ruleres in public schools.

This is a fucking shame. This school needs to be burned to the ground, and all of it's staff tortured brutally. Death is not enough for them.

You can publish anything you want as long as you don't say you did it to harm anyone. If you publish lies because it will make you money, then it's okay. And have you seen the magazines at the checkout counters of grocery stores? Don't you think Tom Cruise, or some other celebrity would have sued them for libel by now?
