Theres a site where you can watch all the SG-1 episodes and all the SGA episodes in pretty good quality. http://piggymoo.com/forum/stargate-complete-tv-series-and-movies-other-goodies-t2967.html (User was banned for this post ("Warez" - birkett))
I never knew sg-atlantis ended with a movie :o
theres 2 actually but there not Atlantis movies, there SG-1 movies.
I follow Joseph Mallozzi's blog, the atlantis movie's script and the third SG-1 movie script have been done for a while now, its just MGM has not cleared them for production yet. I love all the series, the order goes in the order produced on how I like them. But I don't hate Universe, its just different, I like different. Also there is a SGA crossover happening on SGU in season 2 (Richard Wolsey and McKay), and no its not a ploy for ratings, because its in the second half of the season, after the shows fate has been decided. I have seen every single stargate episode throughout the 3 series. I never use to like Atlantis and never paid any attention to it, but when SG1 finished i gave it a go and it grew on me, it definitely got better as it went on. Universe, i like it, i want to know whats going to happen and can't wait for it to come back.
SGA was alright at first, other then the acting being total shit, and Dr. Weir not taking as many risks because they lost Lt. Ford, but as soon as they got Ronon the series go tbetter.

Also I got the impression he dislikes SGU and has never been asked to be in it. He probably knew Hewlett was going to be in it at this point as he is friends with him.
Are they HD DVD quality?
No, I said pretty good not excellent. Watch one and see for yourself.
The last season of Atlantis was starting to go downhill, while I do miss it, I'm glad they ended it before it got too bad. There were a few good episodes in the last couple of seasons but I really hated how they brought back Beckett as a clone and had that episode of Replicator Weir. In fact I would have liked it better if it turned out that the Beckett that got blown up was the clone, since a least then it's not one of those times where the real person died but they have a clone so it doesn't matter. He's still dead. Universe I completely gave up on a few episodes in. I did like the episode where they're on a planet with a disease and then them in the past come through and find a recording of them all dying, especially since I didn't expect the "present" team who got the message from the past to die too. Though it was a bit convenient that there happened to be a solar flare when they got to that planet. I didn't really much like any other episodes that I've seen of it other than the first. SG-1 started going downhill after O'Neill left, but it was still good. I didn't like how you could tell they made up the Ori just so that they could have a new big baddie. My favourite episode is either Window of Opportunity or 2010 (It's weird that it actually IS 2010 now). Though some of my favourite scenes are ones when O'Neill sarcastically comments on anything Anubis's first prime says (can't remember his name).
I watch my stargate from the DVD's, which is why my stream is laggy for people :/
I watched the entire SG-1 series, maybe missed 1-3 episodes. Loved it. Never got to Atlantis, maybe I watch it one day. Since I missed on Atlantis I did watch the first season of Stargate Universe and I agree that it isn't exactly SG formula, the plots are often very boring or uninteresting compare to SG-1, but I still give them a chance and wait for season 2.
If you want to watch SG-1 go to Hulu.com They have all 10 seasons and they are all perfect quality.
If you want to watch SG-1 go to Hulu.com They have all 10 seasons and they are all perfect quality.
if hes American that is
A long time ago me and my brother were going to get like Season 1-7 in Box Sets I very regret that we didn't buy it.
You can find stargate at the library bro. It's usually on a long reserve list. Apparently my county is filled with nerds :/
I've got the entire series of SG-1 on DVD. Love it. Atlantis was great fun too, though cancelled a bit too soon, I'm waiting for a nice big boxed set before getting it on DVD. Universe tries too hard to be like BSG and ends up just being boring. Scrap SG:U and bring back Atlantis.
has stargate sg1 episode 200 been mentioned yet sorry if it has
General Hammond was the best Stargate character ever... R.I.P. Don S. Davis
I've seen every single Stargate movie, every single SG-1 season and every single Atlantis season. I watched the first half of Universe and went ugh. It's just not as good. SG-1 was just made of win and McKay kept me smiling through Atlantis but I find nothing funny or entertaining in Universe.
McKay's had like such a long history with SG it's not even funny. Also not to mention the original character they had in mind had a different name, and was a black astrophysicist or some shit. [editline]04:23AM[/editline] So yeah Atlantis wouldn't of been as good if they had went with there original plans.
has stargate sg1 episode 200 been mentioned yet sorry if it has
That episode was genius. The Farscape skit made me scream like a little girl. :3:
That episode was genius. The Farscape skit made me scream like a little girl. :3:
Speaking of Farscape, the episode "Ripple Effect" the one with teh different SG-1s, when the team with the Mitchell coming out of the gate chewing on the straw, one of the alternate takes had him saying "What the frell!" also "What the frak" http://www.gateworld.net/sg1/s9/making/913.shtml
SG1 was pretty mediocre at first, but soon got into its stride, even though it was kinda cheesy. Atlantis is great. Universe is pure shit, at least from the few episodes I watched. I never completed watching any of them, though, hell, I never even got to the point in Atlantis where Jewel Staite joins the crew. No matter though, apparently she's disliked by the fanbase and I doubt the writers posses near enough the skill to make her anywhere near as adorable as kaylee from firefly. [editline]06:07PM[/editline] Oh yeah, and McKay is the best thing in the entire stargate universe, probably. [editline]06:12PM[/editline]
In fact I would have liked it better if it turned out that the Beckett that got blown up was the clone, since a least then it's not one of those times where the real person died but they have a clone so it doesn't matter.
Reminds me of an episode of ST: Voyager where Harry Kim gets sucked out of an airlock and dies, then at the end of the episode they steal a Harry from an alternate universe to replace him, everyone just accepts it, and it's never mentioned again. I was like 10 when I watched that episode, and that still ticked me off.
McKay is beast like
I loved SG-1 Since the start, Then Atlantis came out and completely refreshed the series and you know, Was awesome. Pitty both had to be cancelled, Now we just have universe... god damnit, What a terrible fate for such a great franchise
I remember watching Stargate SG1 and wondering to myself, who the hell is the black guy with the logo on his head?
stargate has been put on the bottom of need to watch list atm, but if its on tv ill watch it
