Stargate sg-1 is the best, anything else is shit. If only all the old cast were in the new series, it will probably be better. And RIP Don S Davis.
I miss Stargate SG-1.
I can understand why you might like SG-1, but Atlantis? I saw one episode, 20 seconds in I had rolled my eyes so hard I could only see the back of my head. Idiocy was the one word that kept crossing my mind and it was all a bunch of moronic tripe.
Needless to say I never watched another episode again.
Yet you continually list is as either "good" or "decent".
It's like universe.
It got better. But unlike universe, at one stage it was as good as SG1, but then they cancelled it.

what!??? No!!!
Wonder what would've happened if they didn't cancel SGA.
SG1 went downhill very fast after Ben Browder came to the show. Although there were some good episodes with him... '200' being the most memorable.
The SG1 movies were also really terrible. Ark of Truth had some big plot holes (or at least I remember there being big plot holes) and Continuum was just downright terrible (it's saving grace was Ba'al); It's like they forgot that Daniel had no leg for half the movie.
Downhill in what way?
I personally thought that the series remained fun and entertaining throughout its entire life span.
After watching Farscape and then going to Stargate, it was a nice surprise to see Ben Browder and Claudia Black together again.
I had always liked Ben Browder's character, especially with his religious background adding plenty of humor amongst the cast of already lovable characters. I'm about finish Atlantis Season 4, myself, so I'll probably watch Continuum after I watch Search and Rescue.
The only one I watched (and still watching; precisely - waiting for SciFi Channel to air the next season) is SG:U, and I like it a lot. I assume people dislike it because it's so different than the other series?
I've got them all. And I like them all.

You didn't know he died? Where were you?
Universe is just a much darker version of SG-1. Except stuck on a ship 1 billion light years from earth somewhere.
Asgard can't help them now. DEAD AS DEAD.
By the end of Universe, they'll finally try to make it home, but the barriers of Young and Rush will come head to head, but the aliens will return to put them work together again one last time.
Hopefully some kind of SG-1 reunion would be nice, but not to cover them the whole final episodes. I mean, the series just started. Heh, love going ahead of time. Only focus on Rush and Young mostly.
I kinda hate Chloe, though, she maybe a little useless, let's hope she turns into a alien freak by the end of that preview I saw on youtube. Maybe they didn't actually get rid of that thing in her body, but only made it worse. Or just some outbreak in another episode, that has no connection.
September 28, 2010 Series returning in three weeks. Epic Winnage!.

when did that happen? I can't remember missing it

This came today. Nice to see a Stargate thread around here.
SG-1 was great, my favorite
What plot holes in AoT?
Maybe plot holes isn't the right word, but it definitely felt a bit deus ex machina in some parts.

Thats what I mean, they essentially turned it into something it wasn't. And a few of them seemed like they had several pages of script cut from them, 'Morpheus' in season 10 being the one that first comes to mind.
when did that happen? I can't remember missing it
When they get to the russian power station building.
I wish they did more Stargate SG-1 seasons.
Unlikely with MGM's current state
I wish they did a Stargate 2.
With Emmerich and Devlin.
I loved Stargate Atlantis. Watched every episode religiously.
My favorite was honestly Becket, Mckay... well, I honestly gotta say my opinion about that character is just as bad as Carter from SG1 thinks about the guy, lol..
Kinda fun when he blows up.... well however much was blown up when he tried to get that "laz0r" running.
Stargate is great, I think we should get a megathread going to be honest. With all the info on each show and the movies. Plus any news on the Atlantis movie.
I loved SG1, I loved Atlantis, I can't stand SGU, there's so much plot holes and not enough subtle SG humour.
Atlantis movie is a no go according to Ronan's actor
Wow, I'm watching NCIS, and a lot of SG-1 and SGA actors are in it. It's crazy.
General Hammond played a part in an episode. Michael the Wraith played a major part in one episode near the end of Season 3. The original blonde haired Dr. Weir plays a major role as well.
General Hammond had a small part in Con Air too, it was pretty funny seeing him there.

The SGA Dr. Weir is also a romantic interest of Ducky's for a couple of episodes.
But pretty much stargate has been going on so long that any series filmed in Vancouver is bound to have a majority of actors from other TV shows. Just look at sanctuary...
Wonder what would've happened if they didn't cancel SGA.
Good episodes mixed in with "We gotta save the village people in the forest from the Wraith" episodes.
An anniversary episode in which they celebrate the 10th time atlantis was captured. I can't believe why anyone would want sga to continue.
Well the ending was shit
"Omg we on earth lol!!!!, cloak maybe go back to pegasus" :downs:

More shit on stargate universe, since the stupid prefetching bullshit on facepunch, I can't open some pages. So I'll post to the most related thread. Sorry.
I watched the episode, it was good, but not the best. omg Chloe is a alien.
I've really gotten to like Universe
it's way more 'grown up' to use a feeble word for it, than the other two.
It has more drama but that does not make it better or more mature.
