Looks okay, not something I'd pay for. Is this going to be watchable for free? If not then really couldn't care less about this.
I really don't want to start an argument, so I won't go into anything about the quality of his stuff, but I wanted to say one thing about Doug Walker. The thing is, the reason why the anniversary specials visually look like crap is because they have pretty much no budget. Like, at all. Most of it goes towards just getting everybody there, and the production is usually done over just a few days and is very busy, and everyone is usually exhausted through most of it. Whereas James has had a decent budget for what he's doing, a crew, months to work on it, and film-making experience. It's not really fair to compare to two on the same factors.
I enjoyed the TGWTG Anniversary Specials mostly because everyone looks like they're having a blast making it. And the outtakes are great, I still laugh out loud during that bit with the Brawl one where Doug and James are punching eachother infront of the elevator and [sp]it takes like 5 minutes for the elevator to actually show up, allowing them to continue the scene. They step inside, there's a pause, and the cameraman (Rob Walker) just says "And I never saw them again."[/sp] Also, the footage of James recording Super Mecha Death Christ. It's just him sitting on a folding chair screaming "FUCKERRRRSSSSS. OOOOUUUUUUUCHHHHH. DRINK YOUR MIIIIILLLLLLKKKK. FUCKERRRRRRRRSSSSSS." And the footage of James doing the "roar" before they edited it is fucking hilarious. Fuck it, I'll just post the video:
seriously why is everyone stroking off to this it looks like cringeworthy jokes strung together for a couple hours I used to love the nintendo nerd but he's gotten really stale
James loves making movies, he's said that number of times so if his passion for movies tell us anything, he's taking this very seriously and I can see in the trailer how this is so. The trailer and the movie will probably be cheesy, no shit but James takes a unique approach to this, pretty hard to explain but you know it's there. I for one look forward to this and hope it gets James further into his career.
seriously why is everyone stroking off to this
people like something i guess it's time for me to make my move and call them morons for liking it!!! Seriously, you wonder why people dislike you this much?
I loved the top gun stuff in the trailer
Facepunch from an alternate dimension...
Otherwise known as...... /v/
I see James is using one of the things he likes a lot about classic horror movies, practical effects.
I see James is using one of the things he likes a lot about classic horror movies, practical effects.
Expect some kind of animatronic.
I'm a huge fan of the AVGN series so thanks for pointing out nothing. I'm not complaining about James, non of my comments have been about James. It's clear he has a huge passion and knowledge about video games, so sure, he could classify himself as a nerd if he wanted to, but it's not something knowledgeable and intelligent people do. It's when characters are extremely stereotyped "Nerd" that I don't like, and an Atari shirt and thick rimmed glasses is the EXACT demographic stereotype i'm talking about.
She's obviously there to be the stereotypical gamer girl. Whether I will have a problem with that or not shall be seen at some point.
Well, she gets vomited on and will most likely be swearing up a storm. She's shown to atleast know what NES Track and Field is, so that's MILES beyond anyone in the "lel, us gam3rz, rite guise? xD" crowd knows about games.
The Nerd has killed Jason Voorhees Freddy Krueger Bugs Bunny Michael Myers Frankenstein's Nerd and a bat all out of sheer rage. If he had a problem with her, he wouldn't hesitate to voice his opinion.

seeing the trailer for this makes me want a movie with egoraptor and jontron
seeing the trailer for this makes me want a movie with egoraptor and jontron
They should be in it
Also, for anyone interested, the trailer music is "Maverick Regeneration", created by Bear McCreary.
The track is called "Maverick Regeneration" and can be downloaded as part of the Play for Japan album. All proceeds go to help earthquake victims in Japan. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/play-for-japan-the-album/id450785090

I wanted to be a film-maker as a kid due to Peter Jackson's influence on me through the Lord of the Rings movies. Around age 14, I watched "Cinemassacre 200". James kinda sealed the deal for me.
"The Dragon in my dreams" is still the most inspirational video I've ever seen. As said, I hope he makes it out big. I'd love to see him tackle even bigger projects.
For those who never saw it, it has been mentioned in the thread but this is Jame's start in movies
i don't really see what's very funny about this guy, to be honest. every time i've watched a review it was just strung together exaggerated faces and random strings of swears like fucking cuntnugget or some other dumb epithet designed to get a giggle out of a 14 year old. this film looks at least a little bit different, but he's still rocking the dumb faces (when the chick rolls up with the van, for instance). i don't know, am i missing something? some comedy gold mine?

Like, I can't think of anyone who's just indifferent to it.

Time Winters is the brother of my History teacher in High school
I still think this may be the funniest thing James has made:
