Play DiRT 2. Don't play Crysis, Half-Life 2 or Counter-Strike, they can get creepy.
What ?
Half life 2 can be remotely creepy when playing ravenholm but that isn't even creepy.
And also Crysis and Counter-Strike are just exciting and full of action. Not scary.
You've got those feelings mixed up.
You guys know nothing. Try watching a video a friend sends to you about an Asian chick who is getting brutally raped for 15 minutes and then the dude handcuffs her to a post and blows her face off with a .44
magnum.
I watch this shit too much.
OP, The soloution for you to get over your fear is to Read This all the way to the end.
Yeah that messed me up for about day then the next I was like, "I believed that load of shit?"
Play Chzo Mythos. All way through. Should help against irrational fears, as long as you play it all way through. If you quit at the midpoint, it will only make things worse considering your mentality.
Slender man is interesting in my opinion. I kinda wish that I was scared of him :what:
Don't worry bro, here in facepunch, the nerds who get bullied so much at school get a chance to bully other people when their anonymous and don't have to use their shitty fighting skills if they get in a fight, they can just argue away. If you're afraid quit being a pussy, all you other people bullying him, we all know you get bullied in school for your acne, glasses, underfed/overfed body. This is facepunch and if I'll get banned for saying the truth about you nerds then let it.
slendor man you kidding me? the only thing that scared me was reading that suicide mouse thing i won't even touch the video
You could just realize that all things are finite and anything you encounter will always eventually die.
can someone help this guy?
i will
okay, something like this happened to me once before, all you have to do is ignore it and not think about anything that would scare you, simple
looking over your shoulder or in rooms without light only makes it worse, trust me
also, do something you like to get your mind off of it, it worked for me, very well actually
Don't look behind you :)
Or at your mirror :)

No that's a terrible idea.
what he has to do is stare down a long dark hallway at night if his house has one.
Just call slenderman "Slendy" and think of him as a good buddy who wants 20 dollars.
[sp]Two guys go into a cave, really slowly dig out this narrow passage. They hear weird scraping noises like a rock being dragged and later on a human type scream. One guy goes down and sees a weird hyroglyphic and a round rock. Then they find another skinnier guy called joe who agrees to go down with the first guy but the first guy gets injured and has to go back. When Joe returns he has had some traumatic experience that he doesn't want to talk about. Later on the first two guys return and the first guy who went in goes in again, hears the scraping from behind and his light goes out for a while. When he finally gets a new light on the rock has moved to reveal a hole in the ground linking to a tunnel. He tries to gtfo of the tunnel and hears the scraping again as though the thing is coming back for him. When he finally climbs out on the rope the rope goes taught as thoguh something behind him is climbing, his friend cuts the rope and they escape.[/sp]
Mine is more detailed.
Oh and the guy who visits the tunnel gets all these cuts and bruises and a few weeks after the incident he is still paranoid and has some trauma, so he decides to meet joe and they both return to the cave to resolve things [sp]the text ends here so it seems neither of them ever return[/sp]
The story is actually a "bloggified" version of a short story which someone wrote and in the story they do have a proper ending which explains things more.
slendor man you kidding me? the only thing that scared me was reading that suicide mouse thing i won't even touch the video
There is no such thing as suicidemouse.avi
You have been successfully trolled.
So you're scared over slender man, and you decide to tell facepunch?
talking about your fears can always help.
but if the ppl that hear about these fears tell you that your a pussy
you can better stop responding
No no no, you're all misunderstood.
Im not affected by shock videos, i know slenderman isnt real, i know all well written creepypasta's arent real, it's just because OF creepypasta's, im always checking behind my back and freaked out, even after it had been weeks of reading it.
The pirated TV station was real. :ohdear:
Go to the thread of Slenderman, everyone's acting like it's a big joke, or read look at this:

yeah that scared me a lil bit too lawl. this is what i do when I see scary movies or what now and get freaked out over it. I think to my self "dude even if this is real, hes not even in the same state as me, i doubt hes even in the same country." then I usually just stay in my room and the next day i'm fine. I'm sure i'm not the only one who feels completely safe in their own room.
A 12 Gauge always makes the scaries go away! :eng101:

Oh you so funny
I can't find slender man scary, the fact he wears a suit just makes him look like a lankey businessman.
I suffer from some paranoia in the shower. Whenever I have to close my eyes to wash my hair I start seeing shit and start thinking someone is in the bathroom about to scare the shit outa me. Of course it's never happened, but I can't help it. Not really due to the internet, but still.
