Addendum 071-01:
Supervisor's log, ██- ██- 20██
When presented with class-D subject ████ ███████, SCP-071 assumed the shape of a canine. The subject in question reacted with shock and refused to proceed with the experiment, though the subject's physiological signs were consistent with a state of sexual arousal.

682 would make a great garbage disposal if it didn't want to destroy all life.
Fuck every time I try to press those ███████ as they were real spoiler tags.

Does anyone know the number of the window to the forest
Here's my thoughts on an SCP video game. It would have to follow an agent who goes and retrieves the SCPs before they are contained, because that's where the environment is unknown and interesting, and where we see the SCP at it's most dangerous. It would be many small missions to go and retrieve or contain them, and figuring out how to make it secure. So it would be more of a horror puzzle game, and an fps when the mission calls for it. Then there would be some Runescape style puzzles where you have to figure out how to test it, and for what ends.
I like the idea of the Evil Genius style gameplay that was mentioned before, having SCPs escaping and agents trying to take the smaller SCPs
also SCP 999 for Head of Facility please.
Okay I had this idea for an SCP
Basically it's a sewer drain on the side of a road right
But every time anyone fishes in it, a fish will bite. EVERY TIME. Actually getting the fish out is a matter of skill, but still. A fish. The fish is otherwise completely normal, and the breed changes every time.
Any attempts to explore said drain find that there are no fish whatsoever down there (Until a fishing line comes down, at which point one just...Shows up), and in fact the drain's system doesn't seem to be connected to any other drains, and goes in several circles.
Best SCP y/y?
I had a weird dream last night, and thought it could make a nice SCP. I was digging in my back yard and uncovered a seemingly ordinary bottle, full of a liquid, with 'VODKA' sand-etched into the bottle. Nothing more. When drank (depending on the amount drank: 1 sip=entire day, 2 sips=a week, 3 sips=a month, and a mouthfull=a year.) and immediately going to sleep, the corresponding effects would take effect. The bottle would automatically refill itself, but when analyzed, shows that it's ordinary glass, and ordinary vodka. When trying to pour the vodka into another cup or vessel, as soon as it touches the cup/vessel the vodka would immediately disappear.

I'd think a game revolving around the staff at the facility would be better, different levels make you play as a D-class, agent, scientist, or a scp. And shit happens as usual in a penumbra style engine.
I remember the last SCP foundation thread on Facepunch nose-dived and nobody liked it, wonder why its so popular this time?

D-Class: dead/driven insane/mutated and put down in seconds
Agent: "Fuck bitches, contain Euclid class SCP- oh god 682 got out"
Scientist: "How many ways can this kill a D-Class?"
SCP: The most creative ways to kill somebody, ever.
I don't know, every time I hear "SCP game", I think of the new XCOM FPS, which seems to have a similar theme and story. Freaky stuff going down, secret agency dealing with it. The plots are entirely different but I can't help but feel like they share a similarity.

Actually, come to think of it, FEAR reminds me of it too.
You can't really make an SCP game without making something like Spore (in concept), that covers a vast variety of genres. Each SCP is different. Some are toasters that make you believe you are a toaster. Others are omnicidal dinosaurs that are basically invincible.
I don't think an SCP game will work well, A lot of scp's don't have enough information, and there aren't a lot of them.
Aren't a lot? There's nearly 1000
Not a lot that would make for a fun game feature.
