Yeah, I can hear pretty much anything I want to, can't see much though. It can be nice for things like songs or interview logs but most attempts at visualization are lost on me. Sometimes I can get a really clear image in my head (helps if it's just a still image, no potential sound), but usually I just get the sounds. I imagine I'd be a terrible witness because of that.

It's also a bit odd that I can't imagine sound when you take into account that I am an otherwise very non-visual person. I'm one of those massive assholes that close their eyes when they listen to stuff.

Actually that could be related to it. Because aside from my auditory imagination (and my ability to remember song lyrics, which is probably part of the imagination thing) I'm a very visual person, photographic memory and all that.

So I've started reading Duke 'till Dawn, and something seems off. SCP-083 in the story is clearly a humanoid, or at least something that speaks. But if you open SCP-083 via the list of all SCPs, it's a building. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but buildings do not usually sit on chairs and talk to people (though this [I]is[/I] SCP, so it's probably entirely possible). Is there something I'm missing here? Maybe SCP-083 used to be something else?

It's SCP-083-D. It got decommissioned after the events of "Duke 'Till Dawn". [url=http://www.scp-wiki.net/decomm:scp-083-d]Here's a link to the old one, essentially it was a vampire. The Foundation decided to terminate him because he was too costly to maintain containment (he required to be constantly fed the blood of an O-type virgin and if he didn't get it ontime he'd go on a rampage killing everyone until he found a virgin with ) type blood).[/url]
