SPOONY
I wonder what would happen if they sent in someone to 173, but wearing a helmet that gives visual input trough a camera and a screen. So that the person never looks directly at it.

Might as well send him with a blindfold. At least you wouldn't need to go and retrieve it.

But would looking through the camera count as him watching it, though? If he can see it, it technically wouldn't be able to move. Until he blinks of course, but w/e.
In fact, even if it didn't count as him watching it, we'd be able to see what it looks like in motion through the camera.

Right, I forgot how inaccurate the animated flash was, so I guess they don't actually have any footage of it. Regardless they could still have D-class set up cameras for them. But I'm pretty sure 173 could destroy them with very little effort, as you know so far he's only been stopped by walls.

Well, that depends on it knowing what a camera is. There would be a lot to be learned from just dropping random shit in its cell and watching its reaction.
I want to know the origin story for 173, personally.
I'd just like the story as it is now, it's like those stories with open conclusions; you decide your own endings, discuss it with other people and eventually come up with a theory you both can agree on. The same could be said for 173 its log is interesting, it is mysterious and it basically just leaves you thinking about possible theories about it.

It kind of sucks that there's no way to learn about it though, or even anything to be deduced.

What's the difference between thinking of an interpretation, and writing it down? I don't see how it subtracts.
Besides, SCP doesn't have a canon; it doesn't matter if stories contradict each other.

So I saw this today... looks like there are variants of 115.

Show it to 115's author and tell him to make a 115-A variant.

This'd make a good SCP. The concept, not the picture. A telescope, that when aimed at ground-level, will spot some freaky shit that'll then hunt you down and [DATA EXPUNGED]
How do you guys feel about the "wip" SCP draft in my sandbox?

NOT HERE AGAIN! Oh sweet nightmares.
Good idea though with the telescope, see things from distances, being different in every sight

Is that a hooker?
Is that a hooker?
I think so
you can identify them by the saggy breasts and gaping, soulless eyes
It requires a living thing. I frankly think they should just lock 131-A/B in there and be done with it.

You know what we need
A SCP mod for Zoo Tycoon

Anyone got a source on this?
And I began making an entity.
This may be a quote from 2 weeks ago, but did you get anywhere with this per chance?
The script that thing's on at the moment is just so terrifically boring that anything that makes it more interesting would be a welcome improvement
Hell, being able to contain the damn thing would be pretty fun.

The 173 entity on Toybox? I had a look at that... I was grinning like mad when I spawned it, and I looked away to tempt it, then walked behind a pillar. It disappeared an-BAM it teleported right behind me. I respawned only to-BAM it killed me again. I spawn in aga-BAM assraped again.
I think it needs some work.
It needs to actually move, not teleport.
173 is only extremely fast when it's "hunting", and even then it doesn't move so fast that it practically teleports. It should also make the rock grinding noise.
This was probably posted already, but this guy is quite a good SCP writer
