I hope this whole SCP idea's a -J and not a legit on-the-1000s-list one
This Might be a Bit too silly but:

That actually sounds pretty funny, but there's no creepy aspect to it.
There is never any requirement for SCPs to be creepy. Idk where this comes from.
That actually sounds pretty funny, but there's no creepy aspect to it.
well there's the "Make everyone effected join together and start indiscriminately killing everyone in sight who isn't singing" quality to it.
But that doesn't seem very scary over the massive silliness, hell even that's silly at it's base, You would need to reinforce this sinister aspect in multiple ways in order to make this "scary" or even "unsettling"

SCP-XXX also displays the ability to form and dispense Items from Russian Folklore at will and seeming at random or based on the song that is currently playing to the affected personnel under it's influence. I was planning to have the D-Class steal a tank, but then it occurred to me that the Foundation probably doesn't keep tanks that close to testing areas.

And yes, I wrote this without quite being sure whether I wanted it to be funny or scary.

Surveillance footage of Incident XXX-2
Instead of the stereotypical Reconstitutable magic re appearing object qualities why not Have it so that it becomes marginally damaged by attempts to destroy it but is able to begin to regenerate before being completely destroyed and then becomes immune to that form of attack from then onward.
Ala invasions of Russia that resulted in the Russian army being pushed back but then reforming and steamrolling the invading forces.
It's Soviet-Era Russia in Box form.

I was wondering if you'd notice the comparisons
Such as people dancing regardless of their physical condition(referring to the fact that people would be made to work in Soviet Russia regardless of any physical problems they had or be killed.)

Ah, that did not occur to me.
See?, inching our way into legitimate SCP territory.
Regardless, those object qualities are shared with almost every goddamn small inanimate object SCP I've seen.
Incident XXX-1: As part of routine testing with SCP-XXX, three D-Class were instructed to stand around SCP-XXX in a sound-insulated testing chamber. I just noticed that SCP was named after .50 Action Express.
I were playing SCP-Containment Breach with my friend. I got few good moments captured.
This game is pretty scary.
There is never any requirement for SCPs to be creepy. Idk where this comes from.
An SCP having the potential to be creepy or having a creepy aspect to it really adds to the whole thing. I don't like "it does this thing which is amazing" SCPs as much as I like "it does this thing which is amazing but it requires a sacrifice or kills shit if you look at it the wrong way" SCPs. The "Cup of Joe" entry on the coffee machine SCP is a great example of that.
http://sandbox.scp-wiki.net/dr-graham-s-page
in the process of making a scp, what do you think?
So me and Icebrigade are making a new SCP, with me coming up with the concept and some of the test logs, and me and Icebrigade cowriting it, Ice did most of the writing for the test logs.

Its Ices first SCP, and my second SCP.
Tell us what you think.
447's experiment log is amazing

Ok that's cool but you can't just dismiss the hundreds of SCPs that aren't scary/creepy, if every anomalous entity was a ~superscary~ evil thing then it would break the point of them even being anomalous because they'd literally all be the same, just different scary things. You're seriously not telling me that "I Am A Toaster" is a bad SCP because it doesn't toast people with its evil toasting lasers or something
Or the eyepods for example
And no it doesn't "add to it" whatsoever, it's just a different method of writing a story. If you just tacked on scary elements to perfectly good non-scary SCPs you wouldn't get a better quality SCP, you'd get a shit SCP that doesn't know what it wants to be

There needs to be a scp incorporating this song somehow.

The affect being that the person hears it in a loop in the back of his head, and they cannot notice any negative experiences or feel bad about anything.

I'd like an "Effect is changed by handler/way of handling" or something along those lines, maybe a bit more description before that [EXPUNGED].
Also, the gun modifying it's barrel to fire a rocket sounds silly. And the chainsaw thing is just insanely silly. If it could fire a previously unknown long-range bullet, it can fire a tiny rocket to blow up a tank, or a horizontal spray of bullets to cut down a tree.

wow gee sorry for having an opinion then
I Am A Toaster is a great SCP indeed but I'm just saying I like SCPs with dark undertones more
I'd like an "Effect is changed by handler/way of handling" or something along those lines, maybe a bit more description before that [EXPUNGED].

The original idea was that larger projectiles then what would fit the barrel would materialize with some form of energy in front of the barrel, or something along those lines. The chainsaw could easily be changed to something less ridiculous, though we'd preferably have it be something that normally cuts things, perhaps a circular blade, a simple row of bullets implies that it only shoots different bullet patterns when it could launch a grenade at a group of people, or arrows at targets.
Also the main reason the [DATA EXPUNGED] may have seemed a bit off is that I struggled a bit trying to make the word "emitter" fit in that sentence without the log sounding unsophisticated and got fed up with it. Though If it sounds too out of place I could add a bit more info or perhaps get rid of the [EXPUNGED] altogether.
I guess since it's a gun, it could probably be described as "shoots whatever ammo gets the job done" and therefore comes up with some clever way to do something a gun isn't supposed to do, using ammunition used by some kinda weapon (a description which arrows and grenades apply to, but a chainsaw doesn't)
Also, there could probably be a little "doesn't give out any radiation, can't be penetrated by xray" thing about the mysterious reciever device and at least a little physical description of the it, pointing out, for example, that it isn't found on any known gun and that it being there would prevent the gun from shooting bullets normally. Also, a test regarding changing parts of the gun with either spares or exact replicas is in order.
Content, I guess? I found this hilarious.
Now, after that comes the object class. Now, I don't care how pants-shittingly terrifying the gigantic blob looks, if all it's gonna do is make the floor slimy, it's NOT. KETER. Do we need to destroy this thing? No. Is it even going to kill any of us? No! Well… unless you're, like, old or some shit and break your hip. Look, just… try the locked room thing. I'm pretty sure you all know it, okay? If it does nothing to escape the room, it's Safe. If you don't know what the fuck, it's Euclid. If it pops out and eats your grandmother who slipped on the slime covered floor and broke her hip, it's Keter. Okay? Okay.
