Oh Jesus what if it really is a live stream.
I'd move to the opposite side of the earth, wait for affordable commercial space travel to arrive, then move to fucking Mars.
Seriously though, why is it so fucking hard to register?
Seriously though, why is it so fucking hard to register?
Like something aweful, they don't want a bunch of 12 year old idiots running around with bad grammar and horrible rips of 173.
i'm unsure if anyone's posted SCP 614, http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-614 just imagine the kinds of wacky future porn you can get with that thing.
I'm too afraid to allow Javascript through NoScript on SCP-895. Damn it. Do I dare? edit: SCP-610 is a really good read. I'm currently reading the first recorded report. I love the described behaviors of the infected, very detailed.
Like something aweful, they don't want a bunch of 12 year old idiots running around with bad grammar and horrible rips of 173.
So they have a ridiculously hard to obtain password instead? [editline]27th September 2011[/editline] http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-076 Hey look guys, they captured an anime character somehow.
Oh god my chest why
My personal favorite:
Item: One mature SCP-504 tomato Subject: D-504-2 Spoken: "Three tomatoes are walking down the street- a poppa tomato, a momma tomato, and a little baby tomato. Baby tomato starts lagging behind. Poppa tomato gets angry, goes over to the baby tomato, and smooshes him… and says, Catch up." Result: Tomato clocked at 264 mph. Subject rendered unconscious.

That log made it fucking terrifying for me. With its current canon status, it's not a threat to much of anybody, short of insane incompetence(knowing the Foundation, this is a very real possibility though). Now if it reproduced and had a hivemind? Just 1 instance of it losing containment means bye bye humanity. Plus the whole depopulation NA in a few days thing really brought it home.
I like to think that one would be able to fuck over everybody if it got out. If it sees someone who's eyes are closed they're fucking dead.

I'm a member, you just apply and hang out with them and you get accepted.
http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-895 OH GOD THE FUCKING FEED
I was able to take it apart. For anyone who's interested, here are all the images that makes the feed. I havent seen the first one, the black and white one. What does it look like on the feed? Unless thats exactly what it looks like, in which case meh.
I havent seen the first one, the black and white one. What does it look like on the feed? When directly overlayed on the feed, it looks like this... [editline]26th September 2011[/editline] Here's two screw-arounds.
http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-895 OH GOD THE FUCKING FEED
Stared at the feed for a while unable to figure out what was going on, then read the article, looked back at the feed, saw the coffin. NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE
Holy shit, if someone were to make a map based off of the stuff on that site... God help us.

But I do find SCP very addicting, it's very profound and complex which makes me happy, and is a good read.
Okay, not entirely satisfied with my idea.

Found this in my Dropbox, I got it from an SCP thread on another forum a long time ago. If you want it:
Date: ██/██/████ Test Material: An alligator key-chain fob, attached to Agent Sorenson's keys. Results: A six-meter-long saltwater crocodile in a hallway. Fourteen dead. Notes: All agents must now be searched for toys or toy-like items before entering site ██.
Bahahahah, SCP-137 if anyone's curious.
http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/document-recovered-from-the-marianas-trench Love this story
The title makes the story.
Okay, not entirely satisfied with my idea.
I managed to read it before you knocked it down so I'll just go ahead and give some advice: A space-faring civilization wouldn't send it's messages on paper, but rather a matrix or some kind of computer encoding. Paper isn't well suited to space travel, and anyone capable of FTL and such technologies would likely have phased paper out centuries ago. It was a good idea, it simply was too specific and assumed too much of the Foundation's abilities. The idea that they could perfectly translate an alien language, much less into a series of words corresponding with English is a bit implausible. The date for the end of their civilization is a tad too specific and recent to really be justified, as even light-speed travel and a recorded message would leave little absolute. Perhaps most importantly be sure to completely remove any traces of the names of the planet, the title of the leader, and certain items and messages contained within. It's farfetched that the Greek root word "alpha" would end up in an alien language, much less so after translation and conversion to English. Other then cosmetics however the idea of a reverse-voyager is quite interesting.
It's farfetched that the Greek root word "alpha" would end up in an alien language, much less so after translation and conversion to English.
I didn't read the story, so forgive me if I am misunderstanding what you mean, but "Alpha" could easily be in a translation of an alien language. Alpha means multiple things in modern english. "A" "1" "Beginning" "Leader" are some of the meanings. So in context alpha might be used.
