Creepy sculptures some dude made.
Izumi Kato.
I love this one, it makes me feel all tingly inside, even 682 thinks so. http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-999
What happens if 682 were to encounter 106?
What happens if 682 were to encounter 106?
Dr Bright would explode and become a combination of the two.
I imagine that 106 wouldn't really like the prospect of trying to pull a huge-ass lizard into its freaky subdimension, and would rather just pass it up in favor of prey which is more fun to mess with.
I just want to really see one day.
Test on SCP-682 Object: One sugar cube Procedure: Accidentally dropped from an on site researcher. Result: 682 upon touching substance instantly burst into flames, leaving only a charred skeleton. What... I just don't even anymore..-Dr.Clef

What happens if 682 were to encounter 106?
682 would emerge from the pocket dimension and 106 would be missing a leg plot convenience master race
I love this one, it makes me feel all tingly inside, even 682 thinks so. http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-999
I think I remember reading a story about that little fellow, about how he makes people laugh by giving them a taste of the 'voices' in its head, and before, when it shared the voices with people they died bleeding everywhere or something. Anyone know where it is?
I've been thinking more and more about a potential SCP over the past few weeks, but I haven't gotten the time to writing it. It basically boils down to this; 1. The SCP is an electromagnetic phenomenon, which is created through an incredibly strong magnetic field. One example of doing this is leading large amounts of electricity through a large inductor. It was initially created from an experiments with electromagnetism; either from a superpower such as America or Russia, or from the foundation itself. 2. All atoms that are within the field are 'supercharged'; the atoms can bind an infinite amount of electrons in the atoms' valence shell without becoming unstable, and affected atoms will actively seek out additional electrons to bind to. All atoms that binds to a supercharged atom becomes supercharged themselves. 3. This allows for the creation of new, complex molecules, and these are referred to as 'specimens', 'compounds' or 'substances'. The real danger is not the potential of these molecules, but that the atoms may continue to bind their surroundings into one molecule. Worse case scenario is that the entire world is created into a single molecule. 4. But the bonding process is slower than those of natural charge, so you would have the potential to counteract further bonding with the use of hydrogen. As hydrogen only has one electron it can effectively close of a bond of an molecule. Molecules that are closed of with the use of hydrogen are called 'closed-bonds' supercharged molecules, and are available for testing and experiments. 5. There's a real danger of the phenomenon being replicated, and the Foundation actively seeks to prevent further experiments that may cause the phenomenon. I would like to hear what you people think about this, if it sucks, or has too much science stuff. I would also like additional ideas or suggestions to change one or several ideas. I probably won't be able to start writing it any time soon, though.
I know that this line of discussion occurred a few pages ago, but I would like to add something. The level of knowledge required to comprehend it isn't too high IMO. Probably around introductory physical science/first level chemistry. But I do have one question: If the supercharging allows the atom to bind an infinite number of electrons to its valence shell, why would hydrogen be unaffected? Wouldn't any hydrogen atoms that bonded to/contacted the supercharged molecule become supercharged themselves and thus be able to pick up an infinite amount of electrons anyways? Unless I'm confused it's kind of a big hole. I do really like the idea though. I'm a sucker for weird materials and long experimentation logs, which I assume an SCP like this would produce.
effort into the stuff this time, unlike my 173 :v:
A little searching on Izumi Kato lead me to this: https://www.haramuseum.or.jp/shop_en/showGoodsList.php?CatId=6&GrpId=567 Basically, for $50, you can buy a 173 lookalike. I'm definitely considering it.

So for my English class we were supposed to write a short story on any topic, so I wrote the SCP-087 test document IV that had been data expunged in the 087 wiki, and thought I'd post it for you guys here if you wanted to give it a read. I'm not the best writer, and its my first SCP story, so... bare with me haha (I also used false doctor names so please dont beat me up for that :saddowns:) http://pastebin.com/kCdxX6Cn
Really don't like the first paragraph, sounds like a corny secret agent movie's intro Also D-class are all executed at the end of the month, not freed
Really don't like the first paragraph, sounds like a corny secret agent movie's intro Also D-class are all executed at the end of the month, not freed
I had to put it there to help explain it to my teacher since shes never heard of SCP, and I had heard about the execution thing but didn't know if it was true or not. I'm still fairly new to SCP but trying to learn as much as I can so I'm not completely ignorant
This is not related to the short story but people gotta remember that the foundation is pretty fucking mean. They're the good guys, but they will go to extreme, cruel measures to perform their duties. There's one foundation tale where an agent tries to console a woman after they accidentally broke into the wrong house (thinking it was some kind of SCP's home) and killed her family/dog (I think).
I had to put it there to help explain it to my teacher since shes never heard of SCP, and I had heard about the execution thing but didn't know if it was true or not. Let's put 096 and 682 in a room together.
I know that this line of discussion occurred a few pages ago, but I would like to add something. The level of knowledge required to comprehend it isn't too high IMO. Unless I'm confused it's kind of a big hole. I do really like the idea though. I'm a sucker for weird materials and long experimentation logs, which I assume an SCP like this would produce.
Perhaps I've written that a little wrong, let me explain further; my idea is that each atom doesn't have an infinite amount of bonds, but that they are able to use all of their electrons to bind other atoms without becoming unstable, bypassing such things as the octet rule. As hydrogen only have one electron it's used in the bonding procress, and thus can't bind others. Maybe I've misunderstood something, but I've always been under the notion that for a covalent bonding to take place you would require an electron from both atoms to bond with eachothers shell. I've also done more brainstorming about this potential SCP, I've decided that it's slower for it to bond with atoms that have higher atomic number, to the point that it make take a second to bond a single molecule. This makes it take preference with atoms with lower atomic number, if available. This is to ensure that closing of bonds would be easier than before. I've decided that all molecules would be in solid form, because supercharged atoms would hold eachother as dense as possible, to avoid splitting apart. This means that the closest you would to a liqiuid would be akin to sand; a large amount of small (in comparison to other supercharged) molecules. Supercharged molecules could only be gaseous if they were lighter than air - which they rarely are due to their humongous size for molecules. Also, I've decided that it's very difficult for the molecule to spread through air, in order to weaken it a bit. But I haven't decided why - one reasoning would be that the molecules in the air are much more sparse than in solid or liquid form. Also, some ideas for images; [T]http://yougottobekidding.files.wordpress.com/2011/02/image0404.jpg[/T] [T]http://collider.com/wp-content/uploads/Pompeii-ruins-1.jpg[/T] A body turning into a molecule. I don't know which one I'll use. [T]http://scp-wiki.wdfiles.com/local--files/document-09-e-3417845/Slate-Whirlpool1.jpg[/T] The spread of a molecule in the wild. You should recognise this one, ghhostface. I'm still desperately trying to find a software that allows you to build chemical models of molecules. Could anybody help me out with this one?
