I don't remember the number, but I know it was referenced in the first Dr. Bright tale.
I think it's 343
Anyone have the link to that one SCP that's supposed to be a god-like human male that enjoys talking to people and is knowledgeable in all subjects? It's one of my favorites.
It's called "God", 343 I think.

That's a nice tie you've got there, Mr. Royzo.
I choose to accept that one in to my interpretation of the SCP. Him and the Butt Ghost.
And the Halloween article.
I really like the idea of Aperture-incompetent SCP. Like the research on Halloween actually made progress in the organization due to a combination of poor communication and worker insanity.
Also all of the articles are read by Cave Johnson.
"Alright boys, we've got this statue locked up in a closet that kills people when you aren't looking at it. Some funny guy thought he'd be clever and put it in the waiting room. Well, taking care of the problem seems pretty straightforward, just don't take your eyes off it and don't blink."
fifteen minutes later
"Alright evidently I didn't get across the message of 'not blinking.' Let me make this clear: don't blink when you're around that thing. It's that simple. Just don't- wait how did it get in here? Greg? GREG?"
Heh, I read those in Cave's voice and they were pretty great. You should do some more.

Sharing this just for the hell of it. I love the dramatic reveal in the classified note.
To summarize it for those who are too lazy to click, its a oil lamp that opens up a pocket universe in the form of a massive forest with its own unearthly creatures including [sp]a bunch of sentinent reptilian creatures who worship the SCP dudes as gods. [/sp]
Would absolutely love some exploration logs of that.
I know that i just posted this in the General Creepy thread, but this seems like SCP material

Is there an SCP based on the gman?
There's one about a cold-war era businessman with a suitcase who appears in peoples' dreams and warns them about future events but apart from that no

He probably fits the category of "more of a super hero than 083" (was it 083 that can conjure swords?). There's really no way to contain him unless the Foundation would simply be observing his actions.

Felt like sculpting in Zbrush today, and I made this. Its still heavily WIP though.

when it first showed the doll from the inside of the store, I thought that it looked realistic enough that they were trying to pull some "portal to our dimension" stuff
then I thought about how horrible being in the dimension that wasn't real would be, not just because that would mean not being a physical construct but because that would mean being bound to a strict narrative that everybody in the universe would have to be relevant to, and everything that was sufficiently boring or unecessary simply wouldn't happen so that the story would stay lively and entertaining
maybe we can make something from that?

SCP-079 is a coffin which contains Abel, namesake of the Abel Line. I don't think the Gman crosses it as long as he's not presented as the puppetmaster, orchestrater of everything that occurs.
Anyway, SCPs that are based on characters from video games tend to be fairly bad.

From Supplemental Report 239-B-192:
Kondraki: … women hate you.
On G-man, you can't contain something you cannot catch. From what we've seen in Half Life, he exists in another dimension, and can move in and out of ours easily, although he probably needs to be out of sight to do so. Plus, we don't even know the full extent of the G-man's powers.
However, on Half Life things, one SCP i'd like to see is a bit of combine technology. Possibly a strider or a hunter. Although it'd have to be worded as to not be combine because that doesn't fit into the foundation's world.

maybe if we deconstruct the idea of a puppetmaster that controls everything we'll get something more original, or maybe something to do with the disappearances he pulls off?
maybe it's a different person that shows up each time he disappears, but they're all convinced they're the same person and they're all doing their own schemes, and in reality they're just being played by something bigger than they are

it's not 083, nor 079; Abel/Able is 076.
SCPs that are references to existing characters or ideas are also really disliked unless they are joke SCPs
That one doesn't really make sense, it says that all you have to do to make it leave is open the door, but they never actually do, and as a result its taken over a storage closet and has so far stolen:

After reading the log of the items it's stolen so far, I can't get the image of it sitting in a closet and cooking up some SCP-brand meth out of my head.

We do already have an SCP or two that cannot be contained, one of them is actually pretty similar to G-Man.
There's also 401, those butterflies were never fully recontained after Duke till Dawn, and memory serving 239 conjured up a Santa Claus that the foundation can't catch either.

SCP-106 is now in the workshop.
History: SCP-1660-1 was recovered on ██/██/████ by Agent ██████, a Foundation mole from ██████, a front for Marshall, Carter and Dark who were selling "safaris" into SCP-1660-2 to hunt local wildlife (primarily SCP-1660-5, SCP-1660-6 and SCP-1660-7).
I take it you don't have GMOD13 Beta.
We don't really write the foundation as incompetent, that's called writing in a "lolfoundation" style, and it is generally frowned upon.
