The SCP in the logo actually stands for Secure, Contain, Protect. Although it's more likely it'd just be called The Foundation.
S.C.P. stands for pretty much everything the foundation does, they use it to mean all sorts of things.

An "optimal" SCP game, I think, would be a sort of survival horror-ish deal where you're a standard-level human encountering multiple SCP's. Okay, I know I'm replying to an old-ass post, but I can think of one easy way around this:
A D-class wrongly accused of death. The SCP-343 detects this, goes apeshit, and in the ensuing violence many SCPs are let loose. This is the protagonist being given a second chance, although he's in the middle of nowhere in an SCP base, the base mostly in ruins, not knowing what's what, who's who, what to trust, etc.

Why? Training in weaponry and being an agent gives you prior knowledge of some of the things you'll encounter, removing some of that level of helplessness that you would get.

I think everybody's a bit tired of being totally defenseless against the SCPs, and I think an enemy that you don't want to fight is scarier than one that you're incapable of fighting.90% of the SCPs were, at one point, free, and now they weren't. Yet you still don't want to work on-site even if it's locked in a steel box and it'll probably get destroyed if it tries anything.
Like, imagine if you had a sword or something in Amnesia. Would you then run around stabbing all the Struts'? Of course not, because they're scary-looking, they're strong, they have high health, and it's just better to hide than to fight. Same thing with the earlier Silent Hill games; you're capable of killing them, but every nerve in your body tells you to run regardless because they're fucking scary enemies and it's still difficult just to stop your character from fucking up and dying horribly. That, I think, is something an SCP game has yet to capture (pun definitely intended), and I believe the first game to do that will be one of if not [I][B]the[/B][/I] best.

We were tested a sample of paper from the first interview a single page came out during testing it appeared to leak a huge amount of ink at an alarming rate this lead to [DATA EXPUNGED] 3 D -personnel were injured.
