Why aren't those in the actual SCP? They totally should be.
It just looks like a very poor photoshop, really. The faces disobey the laws of light itself and for the lady that's sitting third to the left in the yearbook, you can still see parts of her glasses.
Again, here's the sandbox version of my SCP
this one's real though. a boy apparently left his bike chained to a tree and then went away to WWI, but never came back to retrieve his bike. the tree then ended up growing around the bike.
So what if "The Butt Ghost" was a serious SCP And not a joke one. Can it be done? I'm taking a crack at it either way and I'll have something of it up later. Don't plan on publishing it onto the site unless it becomes really loved. [editline]25th May 2012[/editline] He-he-he
travels around sewers and goes up toilets, rips your organs out of your ass and another grows from your corpse and travels back to the sewer via toilet.
RIP Agent Facepunch, died from writer's block
http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-693 I found an article about these weird little stalker dolls that you control. Turns out I already got a couple. [t]http://i.imgur.com/dmZwZ.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ynkXu.jpg[/t]

This is amazingly clever.

I was thinking of something clever to add to this. But this is already perfect. Well done.
It's an actual SCP-J on the wiki FYI
It's an actual SCP-J on the wiki FYI
Links [editline]31st May 2012[/editline] http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-j linksssss
Is it odd that I think some of these could translate well into a tv show, or high budget web series?
The Twilight Zone was amazing so why can't a Special Containment Procedures show be
The Twilight Zone was amazing so why can't a Special Containment Procedures show be
I just realized "Secure, Contain, Protect" has the same initials as "Special Containment Procedures". For some reason I am extremely pleased by this revelation.
The Twilight Zone was amazing so why can't a Special Containment Procedures show be
The SCP in the logo actually stands for Secure, Contain, Protect. Although it's more likely it'd just be called The Foundation.
S.C.P. stands for pretty much everything the foundation does, they use it to mean all sorts of things.
Suck Cock and Penis
Who would you be controlling, though? An "optimal" SCP game, I think, would be a sort of survival horror-ish deal where you're a standard-level human encountering multiple SCP's. Most of the researchers who delve into the more bizarre stuff are isolated to single projects at a time to avoid cross-contamination; or are those higher-level guys with enough quirks to almost count as supernatural themselves, and thus unsuitable for maintaining the uneasy caution vibe SCP scenarios are built for. I can only think of one sentient SCP off the top of my head who has the sufficient combination of baseline-human traits and freeroam permissions to possibly fill the role, but he'd probably get sidetracked indefinitely due to the reason why he's an SCP in the first place. And if a civilian ever encounters more than one SCP in a lifetime, then he's either been recruited for D-class or there's been a massive breach and a large area of land is about to get glassed.
Okay, I know I'm replying to an old-ass post, but I can think of one easy way around this: A D-class wrongly accused of death. The SCP-343 detects this, goes apeshit, and in the ensuing violence many SCPs are let loose. This is the protagonist being given a second chance, although he's in the middle of nowhere in an SCP base, the base mostly in ruins, not knowing what's what, who's who, what to trust, etc.
Im thinking, low level agent. Some training in weaponry. Some sort of main SCP that is in high numbers breaching containment, Causing massive containment breaches globally. SCP higherarchy fails in parts of the world, leaving every SCP personnel for themselves. Your goal, survive and make your way to an SCP site located in the country. Utilize any SCP you find that can be useful. Save as many civilians as you can. However, at every turn, you should be made aware that no matter how much your packing, everything out there is more dangerous than you, and can kill you in a hearbeat. You see Able chopping some people up trying to kill it? You turn the fuck around and run.
There's actually a bunch of Max Lombardi tales about this kind of thing http://www.scp-wiki.net/command-performance

Training in weaponry and being an agent gives you prior knowledge of some of the things you'll encounter, removing some of that level of helplessness that you would get.
Why? Training in weaponry and being an agent gives you prior knowledge of some of the things you'll encounter, removing some of that level of helplessness that you would get.
I think everybody's a bit tired of being totally defenseless against the SCPs, and I think an enemy that you don't want to fight is scarier than one that you're incapable of fighting.90% of the SCPs were, at one point, free, and now they weren't. Yet you still don't want to work on-site even if it's locked in a steel box and it'll probably get destroyed if it tries anything. Like, imagine if you had a sword or something in Amnesia. Would you then run around stabbing all the Struts'? Of course not, because they're scary-looking, they're strong, they have high health, and it's just better to hide than to fight. Same thing with the earlier Silent Hill games; you're capable of killing them, but every nerve in your body tells you to run regardless because they're fucking scary enemies and it's still difficult just to stop your character from fucking up and dying horribly. That, I think, is something an SCP game has yet to capture (pun definitely intended), and I believe the first game to do that will be one of if not the best.
Here's another crappy SCP:
Item #: 1139 Object class: Safe Special containment procedures: Containment procedures are to be a simple pedestal, unadorned and made of any material not considered to be precious, for example gold or platinum, it shows a serious dislike of any kind of special treatment, but will not tolerate poor treatment.
