Here are some logs, even better (Read after you read the main SCP-914 page)

Welcome to the Foundation, SCPs 173, 682, and 076 are down the hall. Go look at them.
Then read the hundreds block and come back.
...But seriously, as cool as 914 is, there are plenty of other SCPs that are good/interesting/cool in their own right. Mr. Deeds (can't remember the number) is a good one, and the "Extradimensional Nasal Cavity" is one of my personal favorites. When you begin to read the site extensively, your favorites will likely change.

TV Tropes says it does [sp]absolutely nothing, the site director is just afraid of dead bodies so he convinced Bright to make it look like some random goo he found would do crazy shit to corpses, hence why Bright throws the stuff on them every chance he gets.[/sp]
I can't remember where the official site says this, but it's a fun theory nonetheless.

I'd love to see a Foundation tale revolving around someone accidentally exposing it to a body somehow and then freaking the fuck out until they realize it does nothing. Alternatively, the fact that it does nothing visible could freak them out even more.
O5-8 sighed. This was not the first time the 447 alert had been sounded on Senior Staff Shenanigans Day. Before flipping the switch and killing everyone on-site, he took a moment to make sure it was a dead body. If it wasn't, no harm done. If it was, well…the nuke wouldn't do any good, anyways.
Found this on the SCP subreddit:

So this is what I've done so far.

What do you think? I always pictured a lot of the things in the Foundation as being stuck in the late 70's, so Ill begin by making the files look like they are being recovered from that era. Also whats your take on the little "intro song" for the foundation, 70's enough? Really hope people will like this. Planning to make the first actual file by the end of next week.
You know what I love? SCPs that are both humorous and beleivable.
SCP-1171: Humans go Home captured this perfectly. The whole time while I was reading I had a big grin on my face.
So I go on this one Finnish forum I frequent and see someone's made a thread about SCP: Containment Breach. Because I know what the stuff on said forums is usually like, I expected I'd have to correct some misunderstandings by the OP.
Turns out that the OP was the goddamn author of Containment Breach.

And the really absurd part is that the forum community is so small every user knows each other to some extent. The guy's a fairly old member.

I actually think it is more late 80's/early 90's with the music. It works really well IMO.

Looks really nice, but really I saw things as being stuck all over the place, memory serving wasn't there one that was recovered from the 40s?
Theres an old mirror in my garden that looks like a perfect candidate for some kind of SCP. But the best ones are usually words first pictures after. So I don't know if i should try something with it or not.

Go for it, what's the worst that could happen?
Go for it, what's the worst that could happen?
I'll write a terrible entry and everyone will hate me forever and ever.
Sandbox it and post it here? Nothing that much of harm could be made except maybe a few dumbs.
Any SCP's involving communicating through a wall? Like putting your ear up to the wall and you hear breathing or something?

How about an SCP that reaches out through the mirror and does things too you depending on your mood. For example, it grabs your face and pulls you though the mirror and spits you out an hour later, horribly burned. But if you are sad it reaches out, strokes your face and retreats back in. You might be able to weave some bullshit about a depressed old woman burning down her house as a suicide after her husband died. Something along those lines.
Does anyone know which SCP is the one that's some sort of tavern/bar/bowling alley; foundation agents are disguised as patrons and every night they act out a scripted scene in order to prevent the place from doing something wacky?

what the fuck is that
what the fuck is that
From what I was able to gather, it's apparently some aquatic animal's spinal column. Given that I found it in a thread where the OP was asking precisely that question, I can't guarantee the integrity of that answer.
In any case, it's something I would back the fuck up from if I saw it move.

Someone needs to change the log at the end.
It's ripped right from System Shock 2.
What are you guy's favourite joke SCPs? Mine has to be 1234, 006 or 666
1234 is just perfect :v:

I wonder what that would do to someone already infected by 610.
