I enjoyed this article on cracked, so I figured I'd share it with y'all.

I reckon the creators of Containment Breach need to make a game based on SCP-455 (the rusty ship, for those who don't know it off the top of their heads) It would be awesome
I still think there should be a game on (the neutralization of) SCP-1983
I thought of an SCP, "Spontaneous decapitation" where once or so a year, somewhere in the world, someone's head separates from their shoulders for no apparent reason. Before it happens, everyone near the person (including the person) gets a very loud ringing noise in their ears for several seconds; the victim's neck around where the decapitation occurred also turns to ash. The foundation documents this event (and administers amnesiacs when necessary) and is constantly trying to find out what caused the event and find similarities between victims. They begin to realize that, barring certain "gaps" (where is it assumed they simply don't find the victim), the distance between incidents follows a specific pattern; when it is discovered that the distance between incidents is decreasing by about 11% each time, it is reclassified as keter, and finding the source of the "event" becomes of utmost importance. Until the source is found, the SCP is the event itself.
But how do they contain it?
But how do they contain it?
Why contain it?
It's cool.
Why contain it?

The point is you can't write containment procedures for something you can't contain
The point is you can't write containment procedures for something you can't contain
So don't write containment procedures?
I mean what does the foundation have to do with it when they can't secure, protect nor contain it?
I mean what does the foundation have to do with it when they can't secure, protect nor contain it?
They can't secure, contain nor protect that gigantic sun SCP thing that seems to hate humans, and yet that's an SCP (unless they removed it). Seems like it would be something of a similar caliber.

this is a good example of something they can't secure contain or protect. They can SCP something produced by it, but they really can't isolate it much.

there's an uncontained tag, actually.
A lot of memetic SCPs, like the "hanged kings tragedy" are also uncontained.
I don't know if this has been ask before, but guys, what would be your opinion on an SCP RTS game?
That's not a bad idea...
Some /x/phile is getting Dr. Bright and possibly some other admins in a livestream interview in ~3 hours or less, he's going to be reading off questions from the /x/ thread and the livestream chat.

A containment breach scenario in which you guide your armed troops from a Top-down perspective to handle many, many escaped SCP's with what limited resources, time, and troops you have. Maybe there would be some "cannon-fodder" SCP's to be normal enemies (Would be marked as SCP-XX43 etc.), with regular SCP's making semi-rare occurences, requiring the user to react accordingly based on the SCP. Each one would have different containment procedures, and re-capturing or killing the escaped SCP's would be no easy task.
There could be missions where you're capturing X Scp's, Escorting scientists, taking care of escaping D-Class, and the like. I'd like to imagine that the final boss would be SCP-682, because he's unkillable, and would require a more clever approach to capture.
I like it.

I feel like SCP-354 (The Red Pool) would be perfect for this idea, too.

the best format for an SCP game would probably be something like XCOM

That'd be awesome. Artillery and nuclear weapons and amnesiacs and whatever all to reclaim a base, fighting in distant alternate universes, theatrewide tactical warfare in Samothrace.
SCP-Tycoon.
You build the foundation up from a tiny lot to a bustling base as you invest in public unawareness, SCP locating, profitable services (I dunno maybe you could sell some refurbished SCP technology or just sell coffee mugs with the foundation logo) and all while trying to handle an increasingly growing number of SCP's to take care, containment breaches to deal with, and D-Classes trying to escape.
Although I'm just spitballing here, I could never design a tycoon gamw, but I really hope it gets made someday v:v:v
SCP agents trying to contain Mr Bones' Wild Ride.

Don't you mean Dr. Gerald?
I know what scp 55 is
It only affects foundation members and members of the groups of interest
it is [sp]the wiki itself it's all real save yourself[/sp]
Be right back, some nice men in black suits are knocking on my door
