To lighten up the mood, here is one of the tests, in which a D-class was sent into the staircase.

sweet bright and hella gerald, I'm telling you man
trying to get you guys a server in the weekend, give me a seed (maybe a flat one, for easier SCP foundation building)
Does there exist an SCP with a box that has a surprise if you stick your hand in it?
Does there exist an SCP with a box that has a surprise if you stick your hand in it?
There's SCP-198, which gives you a surprise if you stick your hand on it.
It doesn't come off. And it fills with your shit. Quite a surprise when all you wanted was a polystyrene cup.

I could host one now, if the server would boot up.
okay I've been reading all of these and I have to say that SCP-914 and all the experiment logs on it were probably the best thing I've ever read
ever
Well, I got a minecraft SCP server working, now to install bukkit and essentials, just for safety.
(Administrative safety.)
Oh god I fucking love this.
I found the site a few weeks back and I'm currently doing an animation for a school project based on one of the SCPs.
And now we have a SCP minecraft server, IP, anyone?

SCP Foundation Minecraft server, 1.8.1.
Enjoy.
Now to figure out how to do a certain SCP...
Im writing one (or rather, attempting to) but where should I place [DATA EXPUNGED] to give it a realistic feeling? Should it cover names?
What you need to do is [DATA REDACTED.]
After that you should be able to [EXPUNGED.]

you're kidding
i did something almost exactly like that in class today
i'd post it but i forgot to save the file on my flash drive but it's almost exactly like that albeit a little more serious
Silverfish are to be contained like an SCP now. :v:
You know, I wonder why the Foundation never thought of building a gargantuan crusher, using it on 682, and if it survives that (Which is highly likely) then release 173 on the mess that is 682. Apparently, what kept 173 from killing 682 was the difference in size, and that isn't a problem to the foundation when 682 is flat and seriously lacking in eyeballs.
did that server crash because it was really laggy and i can't reconnect
[editline]5th October 2011[/editline]
oh nevermind
That was a lagtacular success.
Wow the server is laggy as fuck. I dunno what's up, but I just disconnected and called it quits.

The reason it's not dead is because a dead SCP isn't particularly entertaining.
That goes for all of them.
Removed plugins on the server, lag seems less common.
But there's still a unusable area. :v: Dont know why

An SCP that can never die and can beat every single SCP for no apparent reason is even less interesting. Don't make an SCP that the foundation wants to kill, and then complain when people want to kill it, it's dumb.

Not nessicarily 682, I agree that's rather bland, but the people who say "why dont we just take a jackhammer to 173" or the like.

Oh, well yeah. I dunno, I feel like an SCP should be terminated if the SCP has an in-story reason to terminate it. I mean there's a lot of out-of-character politics that goes on that I hate. If they don't like an SCP they kill it, even if they don't really have an in-story reason to. If they like an SCP, they never kill it, even if they have an in-story reason to.
did the server ever come back up or is my internet being shitty some more?
