I think i heard somewhere that you can't actually see too many stars in space without a long exposure time. I think on Earth, the atmosphere like diffuses the light so it's more spread out and visible, or something lol idun know

I've been thinking of writing an entry on an object that inflicts "pranks" upon other organisms within 10 feet of it.
It's held within a 20x20x20 room, with only a small metal table and two chairs, all three of which are bolted to the ground. A single door enters into the room, and an observation window looks over the room. The object is suspended in the exact center of the room, and changes the room according to its mischievous needs.
For example, a man enters through the door, and a open bucket of paint appears above the doorway, splashing down onto the victim. Or say, a man makes it past the boobytrapped doorway, and makes it to one of the two chairs. The man sits on the chair, and is met with the fate of either sitting on a whoopie cushion or a tack, depending on how the object's day is going.
If the object is more successful with its previous pranks, and keeps up a chain of mischievous events that prank their respective target successfully, it will continue to throw more light-hearted pranks at the person within the room.
If the object's pranks are somehow avoided by the person within the room continuously, it will become enraged with the receiving end of its mischief. Its acts will become more painful or even deadly. For instance, choosing the tack instead of the whoopie cushion.
