If they are stranded or abandoned. So that they don't have to suffer so they just kill themselves. [editline]16th October 2011[/editline] Also Montauk 110 is rape right? I'm quite sure it's rape.
I guess it's so that if they're not aware of it, they don't try to attempt anything like escape or suicide - though once they do find it, what's to stop them from plotting said attempts? I suppose it's there for emergencies, but you have a point.
I don't think that's it either- there's usually also a gun, which they are aware of.
I thought it was when class D subjects were sacrificed to keep the facility safe?
Brutal, satanic sex cult, they have to wipe her memory to make the rape emotionally damaging? [editline]16th October 2011[/editline] If it was just sacrifice of D classes, then they wouldn't go through all the trouble of keeping everyone and everything private and confidential. Also sex offenders are the only D classes allowed.
I thought it was when class D subjects were sacrificed to keep the facility safe?
So basically normal Foundation operating procedures?

The author said is was worse. Presumably, it's ritualistic abortion.
that article was pretty confusing without knowing what the blacked out words were articles aren't fun if half of the content is covered up
that article was pretty confusing without knowing what the blacked out words were articles aren't fun if half of the content is covered up
I disagree, in the case of that one, your mind filling up the gaps makes it all the creepier.
Furry rape. You can just add "furry" to it and it becomes a million times worse.
I misread this as "Fury Rape," and thought of the most angry sex possible without resorting to just beating the shit out of the other person. It was quite comical, to me at least.

I was walking home at 11:30 PM last night. What a wonderful time to remember scary as fuck SCP articles.

It's like the Angels from Doctor Who. Why does it look like the marshmellow man?
Document #: 523-03 Victim: Agent █████ (deceased) Disguise: Regulation Foundation Pistol Event: Agent █████, along with a team of D-Class personnel had been assigned to oversee an experiment on SCP-682 in which [DATA EXPUNGED]. It was later discovered that the blades of the keys were all dull, and unfit to open any door.

Retrieve your gun, there are dames to be rescued!
:v:
SCP-543 is a dick. One ace of a dick.
I kind of want to see what would happen if SCP-73 and SCP-76 (Cain and Abel) met.
I kind of want to see what would happen if SCP-73 and SCP-76 (Cain and Abel) met.
[DATA EXPUNGED], obviously.
I kind of want to see what would happen if SCP-73 and SCP-76 (Cain and Abel) met.
They, ah, already did. Even if one were to believe that they aren't actually the 'originals', Cain has politely declined being given info about Able on the basis of "knowing enough already" and Able flies into a murderous rage if shown the symbol which Cain sports.
I kind of want to see what would happen if SCP-73 and SCP-76 (Cain and Abel) met.
Shit would be so [DATA EXPUNGED].
So, if most people are killed by 173 because they blink rather than looking away from it, why don't they just do it one eyelid at a time?
So, if most people are killed by 173 because they blink rather than looking away from it, why don't they just do it one eyelid at a time?
It's trickier than you'd think, especially knowing that if you fuck up while winking, you're dead.
It's trickier than you'd think, especially knowing that if you fuck up while winking, you're dead.
Well, yeah. Obviously. The D-Class fuck up everything. I just wonder why nobody's tried it.
What is it? :ohdear:
It's a box. It's empty. There's something inside. From inside comes a ticking noise. There is no object. There is an object. It has to be destroyed, when the countdown stops. We are doing great work. We have to be stopped.

Does anyone know which came first, SCP 173 or the Weeping Angels in Doctor Who? I don't want to start a flame war, nor do I personally care, but I was about to post a link in my Facebook minecraft chat to that Minecraft mod with the 173 skin and I foresee some of the DW fans in the group starting an argument over it. The Weeping Angels date from 2007, but apparently the SCP files were floating around on ED and /x/ long before the wiki was started for them in 2008. I am really hoping that 173 predates the Weeping Angels or I'll have a shitstorm to deal with.

Scratch that, 2008.
