An Axe that must be Protected.
An ordinary woodcutter's axe, that is completely ordinary in all fashions save for the fact that everyone in its vicinity is overwhelmed by the desire to protect said axe at all costs. Henceforth the reason that the Foundation goes completely overboard to protect it, with security measures that make the security protocols for SCP-682 look positively tame.

You guys aren't being vague enough.
Demon porridge.
I have been interested in making one of these, I have great ideas but I don't have much writing experience. I have always wanted put the stuff I come up with into one of these, should I try it or should I not.

A locket of inderminable sentimental value.
Is it me, or does it seem that SCP-212 (http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-212) should be used a lot more? I can get the mortality rate and the excruciating pain, but why do you need clearance from the absolute top to use it if it can do such wonderous things?
Get a high-ranking Agent, as his approval, put him to sleep and expose 'em. Granted there's a 47% chance he'll die horribly, but if he doesn't, well, who know what he'll be able to do. So far we've had ceramic bones, super-sharp teeth, lighter spinal cords, those freaky ankle things from Portal (that let you climb up walls), a wasteless digestive system capable of melting metal, fuckin' metal tentacles, carbon claws, carbon nanotube epidermis, and eyes capable of seeing in the visible, infrared, and ultraviolet light spectrums.
You'd think foundation Agents would be just as horrific as the creatures the hunt with such undeniable power literally in the next room.

Having major changes to your body can make you behave strangely, but the first one there was caused by them being fully converted by SCP-217.
I've been reading through the SCP foundation for some time now and it's really interesting, been writing some of my own SCPs. Here's one of them:
SCP –XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to its unpredictable whereabouts, containment of SCP-XXXX is near-impossible; however, should SCP-XXXX be is captured, protocol dictates it should be destroyed immediately. If SCP-XXXX is sighted, any personnel within a 2██ meter radius should put on noise-cancelling equipment immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of vaguely humanoid creatures, hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2, conjoined by a small strip of flesh at the hip. They are almost always seen crouched on all fours immobile. Their body is thin and brittle, and the skin is slightly transparent, allowing the internal organs to be seen. They lack certain facial features such as ears, noses and eyes; however, the presence of breasts on SCP-XXXX-1 and a penis, pubic hair and [DATA REDACTED] on SCP-XXXX-2 seem to confirm their respective genders as male and female.
SCP-XXXX is nocturnal: no sightings of it have been confirmed at day. It is always seen by the roadside in forested areas, and is naturally attracted to bright lights, especially torchlight and car headlights.
When SCP-XXXX sees such a light, both SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 will emit a loud and high pitched scream. The scream will automatically disable electronic and radio equipment in a 2██ meter radius. It also causes permanent hearing damage to any humans or animals in the same radius. The scream starts off at a volume of 1██ db, and increases over a period of 4 seconds to a maximum of 3██ db. After around 5 seconds, SCP-XXXX will stop screaming and retreat out of sight.
So far, SCP-XXXX has been seen in approximately 37 US states (including Alaska), 5 Mexican states, 6 Canadian provinces and ███████, Russia. There are usually around 40 civilian sightings per year. Although there is no way to predict where SCP-XXXX will be seen next, excessive field research has determined a Mid-Atlantic to Pacific “belt” of frequent sightings.
This map shows the approximate range of SCP-XXXX sightings. Areas shaded in green have an average of 1-3 civilian sightings per year. Yellow areas have an average of 4-6. Orange areas have an average of 7-10 and red areas have an average of 10-14 annual sightings.

Manned and unmanned observations of SCP-XXXX are detailed in the following field logs.
Field Logs
SCP-XXXX-L1
Personnel: Unmanned (controlled by Dr. J███████)
Equipment used: 1x camera mounted field rover (hereafter referred to as “Bunty”)
Location deployed: █████ County, Minneapolis (USA)
Bunty was deployed just outside the town of L██████ at 02:01 hours. Data had shown this area to be a particular “hotspot” for SCP-XXXX sightings. The live feed shows Bunty proceeding along a forested area of Route ██ for approximately 12 minutes, at a constant speed of 14 miles per hour. At 02:13 hours, rustling noises and snapping twigs are heard. Dr. J███████ reduces Bunty’s speed to 6 miles per hour.
Five seconds later, SCP-XXXX appears from a roadside shrub. Dr. J███████ reduces Bunty’s speed to 0 mph. Immediately after Bunty stops, SCP-XXXX screams. Bunty’s audio feed stops approximately 1.5 seconds after SCP-XXXX’s appearance. Visual feed is lost 3 seconds afterwards.
The next day, Bunty was recovered and taken back to SCP Facility ██. Despite extensive efforts, the camera’s memory card was unrecoverable, and Bunty’s motor facilities had been damaged beyond repair.

Which is why you A) don't give superpowers to D-Class, and B) have a psychiatrist look at you first.
Subject Status: Stable but behaving erratically, contained pending psychological analysis.
Sure, this is bound to happen some times. But as you can see from the first report on the D-Class, he was apparently able take down a few Agents and Researchers, took two hours to capture again, and caused quite a bit of trouble for the Site. Now imagine that, but there's four of them working in a team, wrecking the Broken God's shit. I'd say the risks are well worth it.
Subject Status: As of ██-██-████, subject remains in a chemically induced coma, in stable condition. Foreign circuitry in brain appears to be spreading at a geometric rate. Estimate complete replacement of biological brain tissue in [DATA EXPUNGED].
Again, bound to happen sooner or later. But just imagine the things that could have happened, had it gone right. We still don't know what will happen once the circuits are complete. It's like playing with fire, but you've already laid a fuse to some dude that you don't like's house. Sure, there's room for error, but if it goes right it will really go right.
Subject Status: Subject died during the removal of bone marrow. “Footpads” removed, and are currently under study.
And? That's the risks. Who's to say that it didn't just feel like totally fucking this dude up? The footpads could be entirely seperate from the gel. As we've seen all too many times, this machine is totally random and can have any number of combinations. Perhaps it just added to gel for the Hell of it?
Now, don't get me wrong; I'm not saying we should have every man and woman under the Foundation be exposed - that's just asking for something to go horribly wrong! - just that it should happen somewhat more often if it can make Agents comparable to the SCPs themselves. At least have a few converted dudes on call if shit goes bad (as it always does).
It just seems a bit unfair to sort of shunt it and ignore its potential.
