You need to register with SynIRC/NickServ.
I have done so, in Mibbit.
/msg NickServ register [password] , I even have it loaded in my copy+paste gun.
Hey, a gun that fires bullets that copy objects/text onto the targeted area would be an interesting SCP... if it hasn't already been made already.
The ideas are just roiling up inside me right now.

I am already identified, apparently. I guess that, simply, no one else is in the chatroom.

Hm, are you sure you're joining #site19, and not like ##site19?
It should give you the MOTD and such. Let me join and check.

This could be useful for some SCP
My only idea is having some sort of scripted trap you lead it into, or you get a bunch of agents to follow you and you use KO damage against it. But that makes it really limited though.
Stuff like batons and such would work. Alternatively, a high-powered eletricity-based energy weapon could be used to stun it, then the player can keep it as their reward.

Guy enters SCP-087, doesn't even finish (it's over when you meet SCP-087-1 for those not following the thread).
Well, I'm late for this. But after that SCP about the building with the graffite, I stopped every page from loading pictures and checked them if they weren't gifs.
Can I get some constructive criticism for my SCP draft? Its about lawn gnomes.

After looking at this guy's picture I noticed his information... he certainly looks the part.

So Mr. Can't-Finish-SCP-087 had his friend run to the finish for him.
I had my friend play SCP-087 today, shut off the lights and hooked it up to my speaker system. He almost threw my laptop when he saw the shadow on the wall fly at him. Jolly good laugh yes.

Did that with amnesia once, someone came in while we were playing and both of us just screamed at them for a good 5 minutes.

That was already used by an SCP. Can't remember the number, but it was a sea creature the size of a small continent. [sp]It also may have been made of human remains.[/sp]

I remember it having a log where 2 men were swallowed and the younger man turned to a "thing" when they attempted to exit through the intestines and the other man had to fight back to the stomach.
I'm unable to find it anymore, or am I just blind?

148 (Telekill) is one of the SCPs with very high potential for usage with other SCPs. I like it.
Item #: SCP-XXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1952-1 and SCP1952-2 are to be kept in Dr. ██████'s office one of the Foundation's standard “lock-boxes”. No personnel are to be given access to the objects without express written consent of Dr. ██████ Dr. ███████████. Furthermore, no research using the specimens is to be conducted without the presence of at least two of the Level 2 personnel assigned to the objects in addition to the test subjects and the researchers conducting the experiment after incident SCP-1952-I4.

Description: SCP-1952-1 and 2 are a pair of seemingly harmless and completely average wedding bands, made of solid 24 carrot gold. Upon further inspection two identical inscriptions can be made out on the inside of each band. However, due to heavy weathering/aging/use this inscription can not be made out, assuming it is in a recognizable language at all. Upon placing the bands on the fourth proximal digit of the left hand, also known as the “ring finger”, the bands will shrink or grow to match any sized finger seemingly without restriction. They have been observed to grow and shrink to 100x their natural size
If SCP-1952-1 and 2 are put on by any two individuals living creatures “ring fingers”, these two will act as if they are happily married, and in actuality appear to be so (this is noted as they do not simply appear happy, they actually are, or at the very least think they are). It is important to note that the only restriction to SCP-1952 working properly is that the bands must be placed on the “ring finger”. If placed on any other finger the phenomena does not take effect, as it seems to only work in conjunction with the matching ring. Removal of the rings has met with limited complications, as the subjects have no adversity to removing the rings aside from the natural tendencies to hold onto objects of value associated with the subject in question.

Addendum1: Testing proves that the subjects exposed to SCP-1952 do not need to be of the same or different gender, age, or race as confirmed by SCP-1952 Test Batch 1 (this and subsequent testing referred to by T1, T2, etc.).

Addendum2:Testing proves that the subjects exposed to SCP-1952 do not need to be of the same species, genus, family, order, or class as confirmed by SCP-1952-T2.

Addendum3:Further testing has proven that subjects exposed to SCP-1952 do not need to be related in any fashion so long as there is a “ring digit” that the rings can fit on for both subjects, as confirmed by T3. Further testing will determine if this extends to inanimate objects and objects that were once living.
Testing Protocols: Subjects testing SCP-1952 must be either class-D personnel or personnel with Level 2 clearance or higher who have signed a waiver which details the nature of the test and allows for violations of their personal privacy as outlined by the waiver. All test subjects are to be monitored at all times via cameras placed at strategic points in any testing environment. Due to the safe nature of the objects, testing can occur in any location that is approved by the Level 2 personnel assigned to SCP-1952 or with the express written consent of Dr. ██████.

T1
Overseen by Dr. ██████:
In order to test the basic effects of SCP-1952 ten (10) class-D personnel were taken to test chamber 1 (henceforth referred to as TC1) with chairs and a one way mirror looking out into test chamber 2 (henceforth referred to as TC2) a 10mX10m room with two doors as the entrance, one on either side .
The profiles of the ten (10) class-D personnel are five (5) females and five (5) males. One subject of each gender being of Caucasian, African, and Asiatic decent, and two of mixed racial backgrounds.
A similar “mirror” group of ten (10) class-D personnel were then introduced into TC2, two at a time each wearing one of SCP-1952. The reaction was the same for each test “couple” Upon entering the room, the two subjects would act as if greeting a lover, and proceed to act affectionate towards one another, regardless of having no prior meeting in some cases, while in others the test subjects were known have had previous hostilities towards one another. The subjects had no prior knowledge of what SCP-1952 would do and regardless of sexual orientation the subjects displayed affection, both emotional and physical.
After witnessing this the ten (10) subjects in TC1 were experimented under using identical procedures and displayed similar results. Despite effectively knowing what would happen, the subjects could not prevent SCP-1952 from effecting them.
SCP-1952 did not appear to affect any other portions of the subjects' psyche as they displayed the same intelligence and awareness level, simply treating their “relationship” as something completely natural. When asked questions about the relationships, the answers varied from couple to couple, however, each couple had a story corresponding to their partner. As there was no correspondence prior to the experiment, it can be safely assumed that SCP-1952 has a way of modifying the wearers' thought processes.
All of the subjects exhibited positive affections regardless of personal psychological profiles (some being violent, others being sociopathic)
When the rings were removed, simply by requesting them be taken off the subjects fingers, the affections vanished leaving behind only the memory of what transpired. If one ring was removed, while another remained on the finger, the effect ceased as well. The subjects were then questioned about these memories, to which they all responded with a confused feeling. They all described the feeling of no longer being under SCP-1952's effect similarly, often likening it to becoming “sobered up” and the majority of subjects expressed a displeasure in the events that transpired, though missing the feeling of affection.
All subjects were monitored for one month after the test, with no lingering effects, aside from some expressing a desire to “feel that way again”.

T2
Overseen by Dr. ██████:
In this test SCP-1952-1 was placed on a 24 year old male class-D personnel of Caucasian decent, with SCP-1952-2 being placed on the finger of a 4 year old chimpanzee (nicknamed “Stitch”). The reaction was that the subjects displayed similar affections as in test T1, however, the typical ways affection is showed by chimpanzees was displayed by the human subject in addition to the normal human affections. Furthermore “Stitch” displayed human-like affections as well as chimp-like affections. Experiment stopped before subjects could perform actions of a sexual nature.

T3
Authorized by Dr. ██████:
SCP-1952-1 was placed on a 29 year old female class-D personnel of Asiatic decent, with SCP-1952-2 being placed on the finger of a sculpted hand. Subject expressed the same affections seen in the previous tests (absent the chimp-like affections). Experiment stopped as the subject attempted to use the hand in a crude sexual act.
