Results: Unexpectedly, subject experienced a vision of being sexually assaulted by several former cellmates. Subsequent investigation revealed that such an attack occurred during a previous incarceration. SCP-825 was removed for 10 minutes and then the subject was informed that it would be reapplied. Subject answered intimate questions and followed demeaning instructions in a frantic attempt to prevent reapplication. Reapplication resulted in a similar vision, except all participants were now covered in spiders. After removal, subject damaged restraints in his attempt to escape and was sedated. Additional Comments: Containment facility outfitted with stronger restraints.

Reapplication resulted in a similar vision, except all participants were now covered in spiders.
SCP - Sporting Clube de Portugal!
Well shit, getting raped by a bunch of guys covered in spiders. Pretty much worst thing ever.
You know, ever since I found the SCP Foundation a little over 2 years ago it's been probably my all time favorite website. It has such a variety of content, and all of it is almost always so incredibly well written. If I had to chose one website to only visit for the rest of my life, it would be the SCP Foundation. I'f I'm ever bored, or I've hit a massive wall of writer's block, I browse the site for a half hour and all is well again. One day I'm going to try and contribute to the Foundation, but until them I am just a simple reader. God bless you SCP Foundation, you are the slayer of boredom and the sparker of creativity.
I find it rather ironic how the SCP before 231(ie:the one about brutally raping a little pregnant girl to the extent of killing a world-destroying demon baby growing inside her) is "The Gayest man in the World" hahaha
I find it rather ironic how the SCP before 231(ie:the one about brutally raping a little pregnant girl to the extent of killing a world-destroying demon baby growing inside her) is "The Gayest man in the World" hahaha
They removed that one? I thought it was pretty funny, might make a good -J. I also remember a note in that one saying "I don't care how funny 'the gayest gay man in the world' sounds, we are not using (whatever SCP was the 'gay bomb') on him."

SCP teaches thing brother.
I wish I was accepted. I wanted to do a bunch of black market scps, complete with an mtf that specifically combed underground markets for such scps.
I have been reading the SCP 001. What is it? So many proposals, what it means?!
I have been reading the SCP 001. What is it? So many proposals, what it means?!
SCP-001 is sort of a reserved slot. It's supposed to be super-classified, and basically, it's where people write proposals for the biggest, most world-destroying/mind-boggling SCPs. [sp]The top rated SCP-001 proposal is a gate to Eden, just for reference.[/sp]
SCP-093 would make an awesome short film...or a long-ass movie depending on who would make it.
So something my mind tends to do is spontaneously create fake trailers and videos whenever I'm reading, thinking, or listening to music. So I'm just browsing SCP on a boring day when I scroll past the following in "Task Forces:" "Mobile Task Force Omicron-9 (aka "Hot Zone Dancers"): Specializes in close-quarters battle in Level 4 Biohazard environments." ...In the next 10 minutes, I had a full trailer of an SCP action shooter themed to Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark." The worst part? The song fit fucking expertly.
I uh, that is the most beautiful combination of music and idea I have ever read. If that never gets made my life will not be complete.
SCP-093 would make an awesome short film...or a long-ass movie depending on who would make it.
Well yeah, but if you make a long film it's expected that you'll stuff in everything important, and that just isn't possible with the amount of SCPs there are. A collection of short films tailored to individual SCPs would work much better.

The last SCP-001 proposal(the new one,"The Foundation")is pretty interesting and also kinda scary when you think about it. A summary of it is that some high school suddenly transformed overnight, started producing guards,"D-men" and scientists and started making anomalous objects in the atrium(which was sealed off by a giant metal wall out of nowhere during the transformation)that the scientists began containing and studying in the classrooms, later sending out two broken English morse code messages saying something along the lines of "Hello we are the Foundation we would like to be friends and have government funding"(at least that's what I interpreted from it). Think a bit about it. [editline]1st March 2012[/editline] Wait nevermind I didn't understand it myself at all If you look at the context of the article,it's completely different from all the other articles It also seems to have been made in the 1950s [sp]It's written by a branch of the FBI called the "Unusual Incidents Unit"[/sp] [sp]The SCP foundation IS the anomaly[/sp]
No, Foundation, you are the anomaly. And then Foundation was an SCP.
Was there an SCP about a haunted never ending tunnel?
There was one about a haunted tunnel that would steal pieces of things sent through it. It wasn't endless though.

I tried to write an SCP.
Item #: SCP-XXX [will be replaced when a number is given] Object Class: Euclid Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX is to be kept in a dedicated containment cell at Site ██ that is to be designed to block all incoming or outgoing radio signals. No electronic equipment of any kind is to be allowed inside. No listening devices or related peripherals, including headphones, speakers, MP3 players, or walkmans, are to be allowed at Site ██. Under no circumstances is SCP-XXX to be used for personal entertainment. Description: SCP-XXX appears to be a yellow battery-powered portable cassette player measuring approximately 2.5 x 0.5 x 1 meters. No manufacturer's name is visible on SCP-XXX, and its design does not match any commercially available cassette player. SCP-XXX is chipped in several areas, and there is no cover for its battery compartment. SCP-XXX is equipped with a typical radio for a cassette player, albeit one with great sensitivity. SCP-XXX was found with a cassette tape already within, dubbed SCP-XXX-1. This cassette tape has a clear case and has the words [DATA EXPUNGED] written on it in faded black marker ink. It has been found that SCP-XXX functions exactly like a normal cassette player when any other tape is placed inside and the "play" button is pressed, aside from an abnormally high sound quality that would be unexpected given SCP-XXX's small speakers. When SCP-XXX-1 is inserted into SCP-XXX and the "play" button is pressed, only a low buzzing sound can be heard. The tape lasts for approximately ███ minutes before automatically stopping. No anomalous effects have been observed to occur during or after listening to the contents of SCP-XXX-1 in this manner. When headphones are connected to a side jack on SCP-XXX and SCP-XXX-1 is played, the results will change. Listeners report a loud, cacophonous series of sounds that have been described by Dr. █████ as "ear ████ to the utmost extreme". Adjusting the volume knob of SCP-XXX appears to have no effect on SCP-XXX-1. Despite the volume of the sounds, they are completely inaudible to anyone not wearing the headphones, and no hearing damage has resulted from the listening of SCP-XXX-1 with headphones. Experiments are ongoing to determine whether the contents of SCP-XXX-1 can be recorded. If the "record" button on SCP-XXX is pressed with SCP-XXX-1 inserted, music will play from SCP-XXX's speakers. This occurs even if headphones are inserted into SCP-XXX. It has also been noted that this will occur even when SCP-XXX does not have batteries in it. The resultant music appears to be random. Experiments are ongoing to discover what determines the music played. See Addendum XXX-01. Testing Log of SCP-XXX-1's "Recordings": Subject(s): Dr. E████ and Dr. P██ Result: Smooth jazz music was heard being played by SCP-XXX at a comfortable volume. Dr. P██ commented that he was a "big fan of jazz" and that that music was "soothing". Subject(s): Dr. E████ Result: SCP-XXX began to play traditional Spanish music. Dr. E████ admitted that he often listens to Spanish guitar recordings while writing reports. Subject(s): Dr. E████, Dr. P██, and Dr. F███████ Result: SCP-XXX played what appeared to be a subset of the "fusion" genre. All three doctors said that the song was "agreeable". Addendum XXX-01: The music played upon pressing the "record" button while SCP-XXX-1 is inserted into SCP-XXX seems to be based on the listeners' personality, mood, and current situation. When only one listener is within approximately 10 meters, the aspects of the listener (personality and mood) appear to affect the chosen song more dominantly. When there are multiple persons near SCP-XXX, the music appears to be more affected by a "consensus" of the situation. Subject(s): Dr. E████ and Dr. C███ Result: The song "One Winged █████" began to play, with the chorus section replaced by a ukulele. Record button was unable to be pressed again until the song's completion. Notes: Damn, and all he did was walk by the room! Well, at least now we know that SCP-XXX seems to be able to play real songs and even edit them.
I intended it to be able to "talk" if an ordinary blank tape was inserted, and I also intended it to be able to give sarcastic "reviews" if a tape with a song on it was inserted and the record button was pressed. Alternatively I could make it so that it had two spots for tapes, and it would record its "review results" onto a blank tape while the other slot had a song in it. The loud sounds that happened when SCP-XXX-1 was played would be a collection of every song ever released on cassette tape, and this would be where it pulls everything that it says/plays from via mixing and editing. I don't know if that would be putting too much into one entry, though.
I tried to write an SCP. I intended it to be able to "talk" if an ordinary blank tape was inserted, and I also intended it to blah blah more stuff
Seems very similar to SCP-624.
