i'm seeing a chiropractor (i think that's what they're called in the us) / osteopathe (for Heigou) tomorrow will probably have to take a week off until next monday. he's going to inspect my possibly pinched nerve in between my left arm wrist flexors (pain when supinating at high angle - front squat arm position or z bar curls), my light scoliosis, and of course my possibly anteversed hip (just a bit though, nothing scary like weird angles n shit) these things hamper my confidence and my form mostly. i want to be safe before going really hard on deads and squats.
I thought chiropractic practise was mostly BS?
I thought chiropractic practise was mostly BS?
just like with other doctors. it's important where you finish your degree, and how serious you're doing your job. i'm pretty sure there are lots of general doctors out there that don't know shit too anyway. this guy finished a reputable school in paris and his mentor was really well known too, because a friend of my mother had her entire family go to the mentor, and after to this guy. i've been going to him since i was 13 years old, two times a year. i can assure you, that after one hour with him you leave with absolutely no pain, no strain no nothing in your body. he helped me partially diagnose and improve my scoliosis, which was bad when i was 13. of course he can't solve muscle imbalances by snapping his fingers, but he clearly helps you put stuff back in place. about my forearm: visited him today and while he said it's most likely an inflammation, it could be due to strain while curling with a bar, which is totally a non natural movement. apparently my elbow wasn't 100% into place. while supinating i had pain in forearm but it extended up to my elbow. after he did shit to my whole arm, while not popping with a sound, he put it back together. now i feel reeeeeally good, and pain while supinating is gone. i can still feel the inflammation though. tl;dr sorry for the big text shit. i'll make this one short. i felt uneasy under my right patella when going downstairs, while feeling fine while going upstairs. i didn't tell him anything apart my forearm problem. while checking my spine n shit, and my posture, he found out my hip wasn't really in place and he popped my right femur back in mah hip. again, no obv popping sound, but when going in the metro i could go down stairs, even while bending my knees more than usual to check if it was really true: no discomfort. he's really good. if i had the money to go every month it would be godly. [editline]21st May 2013[/editline] sometimes i wish i'd be more consistent with writing shit. i know english, but it seems that i'm an idiot
every time i shave my chest, the inner part of my chest breaks out and it's fuckin disgusting help me brahs, what do?
sound like it could be ingrown hairs Ingrown hairs become red and inflamed due to a bacterial infection underneath the skin. Keep things clear by applying a lotion or oil with anti-bacterial ingredients, such as tea tree oil or lavender oil, after hair removal. “Don’t use rubbing alcohol or alcohol-based products,” warns Dakkar. “They’ll dry out, irritate, and inflame the skin, which can make things worse.” source: http://www.prevention.com/prevent/how-prevent-ingrown-hairs
anyone recommend any good lotions for this purpose then? lol

I used to be able to do 60 push ups in a single set back when I weighed 145.
I used to be able to do 60 push ups in a single set back when I weighed 145.
i've gained 4kg of muscle since i seriously started working out. but it seems my reps rather went up. before i started the gym i was only able to go up to 20. [editline]22nd May 2013[/editline] i should get more used to endurance reps, cuz all i've been doin all dis time is heavy weights lel [editline]22nd May 2013[/editline] http://cwanamaker.hubpages.com/hub/How-Much-Weight-Do-You-Actually-Push-Up-During-a-Pushup
I went from not being able to do a single push up to being able to do 50 push ups npnp right now. Such is life losing weight from 265 lbs to ~170-175 lbs. Also went from not being able to do a single chin up to now 5 chin ups. Chin ups are still hard, god damn.
Gym is closed Memorial day/Monday the 27th. What do? Go Sunday the 26th, or Tuesday the 28th? I've been doing Monday, Wednesday, Friday, but I don't have a problem with switching it up if necessary. on teh topic of pushups I can usually do 40-50 pushups in one set. Though when I do pushups, it's usually only one or two sets or a bazillion sets of like any where from 2-10 reps. This is largely due to Karate, and a lesser degree BJJ. At Karate, pushups are given out like candy, and same goes for situps. How many we do through out a class varies a lot (as little as 30 to as much as probably 200), but no matter what, at the end we're suppose to do one set of 35 pushups and situps (it's stupid I know, but I do them anyways cuz fuck it I don't wanna look like a bitch) BJJ, situps and burpees are the big ones. Also, at the Karate belt tests, there is always a part where everyone gets tested on how many pushups and situps they can do in 1 minute. There is no set number you have to reach, you just are suppose to do more than last time. Of course there comes a time where you probably can't do more in the same time frame so you just try to get the same amount. Mkay I'll shut up now
one my friends is so obese and benches so much that doing 225 is easier then doing a push up
damn dat shit dope, thanks brah imma skip saying no homo a couple times just be a lil ~scandalous~
https://www.google.co.il/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCwQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.benzac.com.au%2Fabout_benzac.html&ei=frGdUYiBCYiVtAbhhIGQCg&usg=AFQjCNG1KFEOquMtPvxSKD1Wc7xpUtLjjA&sig2=0dZ_pihMu69UYl8UE0zYeg&bvm=bv.46865395,d.Yms exfoliates skin cells, which is what u are looking for
