Considering getting one of those barrel trolleys, my case is way too big and heavy for a suitcase.
get a smaller case perhaps?
So you bring your own PC, but what about monitors? I'm cool bringing a mouse, keyboard and headphones, but I'd rather not risk damaging my monitor.
get a smaller case perhaps?
That's possibly the worst suggestion I've ever seen.
That's possibly the worst suggestion I've ever seen.
why? would it be better i suggested a bigger case? if you're traveling alot or over long distance it's naturally to keep your computer small and light.
I wish I could go... blah.
So, since no one answered it.. How DO all the FPers that go get to sit with eachother.. Do you just get there mega early to set up with eachother?
When people book their tickets they make me their seat manager and I will sort us all out
Got a few questions: How much is the Hotel? How long is it? How does the whole thing work? (They have games listed on their site, are you only supposed to play them or are they just ones which are being supported with tournaments?) Can you go alone if your 17?

For us Americans there's a few large LAN parties that happen throughout the year. The biggest one in America is Quakecon, which supports about 2,800 peopleand their computers in the BYOC area. It takes place in Dallas, Texas for like 4 days once a year. Then there's Lanwar which takes place across America and has a bit less people that attend than quakecon, depending on where it'll be located. The next one will be at the University of Louisville, KY in July. Those are the largest two, but there are tons of smaller ones happening all the time.

Me and like 7 other FPers are going to go.

I'd come but I live in the UK. I'm thinking of attending since I'll be over 16 in august and won't have to fill in no forms :c00l:

Just got back now lol. God thats a long trip lol To get to i36 (from Annan in scotland). I had to: Get a lift to carlisle Catch a coach from carlisle to birmingham (4 hour 30mins) Get a train from birmingham to coventry (20mins roughly) (£3.90 for a single) Taxi from Coventry to stoneleigh (10 - 15mins) (£12 to hire a minibus) Also repeat in reverse for the way back :downs:
