Okay. I'll look into those but I might just add a week to my trip and visit London.
Bleh, $800 ticket. I have enough but I need to revert my Japan plans...
By the way, how long will it take to reach this place from London by train? I'm currently set up to leave the US on monday and have a week to set up.

I don't travel much, so it better be good.
(Alternatively, I could buy a new computer there and ship it back once i37 is done...)
What a shame, my school starts on the 10th of August. :c
Oh wait, maybe I can rearrange it and get the day off.
I'd just like to know, do they check your computer?

It's about an hour and a half from London Marylebone by chiltern railways. London isn't what it's made up to be, it's a bit of a disappointment.

why are you concerned about that?

Wow, didn't know that UK trains are that fast / the UK is that small.
Add to that plane delays, the pilot wanking off in his cabin, me wandering off to souvenier shops, getting sick at resteraunts and all that, and I'd estimate it'd take around a day, I guess.
Now I gotta revert my Japan plans.
Oh, and one final question: When do people start showing up at i37? (How many days before it starts)? Just so maybe I can extend the trip backwards a bit so to go all touristy and buy bobblehead souveniers.
why are you concerned about that?
He's probably got some pirated music/film/game/porn and thinks they're after people.

For me to get from where I go to uni to home on the train it takes an hour and stops about 8 times and this is 40 miles away on a non-express train whilst express ones are rather fast.
Ugh, probably can't go until I have gone to some local lan party, which sucks. Bunch of tents in the field with a LAN and no internets. Parents, yay.
FFFFFFFFFF
why? would it be better i suggested a bigger case?
if you're traveling alot or over long distance it's naturally to keep your computer small and light.
Why the fuck would I spend an extra £50-£60 for a case, that I had to waste time looking for, make sure all my components fit, rebuild my rig into that case, still have the same fucking weight, and then never use the case again, all for one fucking LAN?
Think a little.
looking pretty good that i'll be coming, just gotta get travel sorted and i'll be there!

it's just a suggestion, and besides you never know if you're going to another LAN 100%
but it's your computer so you decide.

I've been to the last two summer events so I'll probably be attending. Great weekend of freebies.
Freebies for i36 were pretty shit, lets hope there's more at i37
I got a 4GB memory stick and a fan controller free at i31 and at i34 I entered a contest and won a Foxconn motherboard worth over £200.

I'm afraid that's confidential. However, you answered my question with a question, can someone give me a clear answer?
why the hell would they search your computer are you stupid
I heard rumours that they do that at some LAN parties.
I'm pretty sure I'm coming, but I have another question, how are you guys bringing your heavy computers and heavy monitors all the way over there?
And if I'm coming, would I be the only non-UK'er?

What could you have on your computer at age 15 that you're so worried about?

Later.
Anyone knows if it's possible and how much it'll be if I'm gonna rent a PC with a monitor? I'm higly interested in that event, but I'll need to take a plane because I'm from the other sea site of england.
Also, do you organize something? Maybe taking a bus together to travel up to north or something like that?

IIRC, 19" TFT's go for £50.
IIRC, 19" TFT's go for £50.
Yap, I've read this on their page. But it seems that there's no PC for rent, right?
