As far as I know, there has never been a computer or monitor stolen, but there is the occasional theft of mice and other small items. At i36 someone stole a Razer Mamba.

The guy sat opposite me showed it to us and was bragging about how it cost him £120. Next thing I know it's on the forums that it's been stolen.

I was literally about to book until my parents were all rararar about food and accomodation. But anyway, the booking thing said something about seat location like Call of Duty or some shit, does it matter what I pick?

You can book right up to 2 days before, well actually the day before.
They close the seatpicker on the wednesday (which will be the 5th August). But you can still book on the thursday (6th August). Just don't expect to get seated where you want if you leave it that late because all the spots will be taken i bet. Currently there is about 650 seats booked already, i36 only had about 300 booked by this time

Also i would only bring a laptop if it's really good.
Cmndr0 came to i36 with a laptop and the douche thought he was safe without a virus scanner. Of course as soon as he plugged into LAN he got a virus, then spent the weekend fixing his laptop, also it was just a plain shit laptop for gaming in the first place. Only game he could play was Eve Online DEMO lol.
